What's new

Tejas aircraft deficient in at least 100 technical parameters

It's happened before.

In the 60s of the last century, the Albanians under Enver Hoxha were as isolated as the Chinese. They coined the slogan now so popular - with updates - somewhere west of India: we and the Chinese are 600 million strong.

...plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose!

Wow, I never even knew that. :what:

After all the test pilots are Air force Pilots, isn't it ? Some thing is fishy here. I am also a businessman and I do have to give bribes to get the things done in my way. I am also no defense expert. But something tells me that the so called experts did not get their choice of bottles and dinner was quite bad. Why not pit LCA (LSP stage will do) and J-10/J-17 in a friendly fight(exercise) in some neutral area and with/without ground support. It would clear every doubt once and for all.

This was the last thing i had expected from u.
cant u simply reply the post that i quote with reply for u??
actually i treat everybody individually based on their behavior. This post was just not for u.
As i still believe that yr one of saner indian in forum.

Let me explain some things to you. These may sound harsh, so I will do it in a private manner. If you choose to use my inputs, good for me. If you should choose to ignore them, good for you.

The indian airforce pilots are getting the most risky jobs in the world!

Yet flying it without any crashes and with latest techs.

Cry me a river guys. No one has ever said designing, testing and building an advanced 4.5++ multi-role fighter with little to no prior such experience was going to be easy.

If it was easy, everyone would do it.

I think it's pretty outrageous for certain members here to keep going on about India's so-called "failed projects". It is the realm of the ignorant and uninspired who attack those who try and have ambition.

The program has still got a while to go, no one is saying any different!

Why bother giving reply to those who never even tried to make a single component of an 3rd gen aircraft.

Wow, I never even knew that. :what:

These were the days of the Cultural Revolution. On the one hand, my college mates were chanting Chiner Chairman, Amader Chairman, and describing Mao as Asia'r Mukti-surjya; on the other hand, the diplomatic staff at the Chinese Embassy in London were attacking the policemen on duty with axes.

29 August 1967 - Armed Chinese diplomats attack British police guarding the Chinese Legation in London.[21]

I lived in interesting times, comrade.

1. Till yesterday pakistanis were saying that as Tejas is not operational and inducted so we will talk about it or compare it with jf 17 only when the Tejas is inducted and fully operational. :undecided:

But now they are jumping up and down with joy and commenting weirdly.

Hippocrates???????????

2. How can one talk about something which is not operational or how can one talk about a under production and unfinished products???? :cheesy: :undecided:

3. Even if one goes by this news it (which have unnamed source) this report says that by 2013 Tejas will get rid of so called 100 deficiencies.

This means by end of this year Tejas will not have any efficiencies as p[er the same super source who have claimed that presently it have. :smokin:

Just wait for 8 months every thing will be fine as per the thread starter's news.

Let me tell u something mate!!The Pakistanis would be more than happy to see the Tejas project fail (Which obviously is not going to happen)since they can't come to terms with the fact that India is capable of designing developing and producing a fighter jet on her own.And God knows what would happen if the Kaveri becomes operational in the distant future and Tejas starts using these instead of the GE engines !!!

And who might these be, @shuttler?

the indian pilots who are losing sleep over the poor workmanship and those who demised! To indian pilots as a whole some in
advance the other posthumous and good luck to those who manage to survive against the odds!

No Indian pilots are losing sleep over poor workmanship of the Tejas. The workmanship is in fact particularly good. Not a single Indian pilot has died flying the Tejas, as it has now flown extensively with no crashes. The panel who flew the first prototype included a good friend of mine, Philip Rajkumar, and it was his opinion that this was a remarkably 'flyable' plane.

Speculation and wishful thinking are not good enough to substantiate such statements.

Having 100 erroneous parameters are quite alarming and fatal if they are engaged in combats! Unless the makers have assurance to the fleet and the airforce that the errors are outrageously minute, but then why the reporting by the indian press if they are so!

Are they engaged in combat? Or is the LCA still in the testing and DEVLOPMENT phase?
