What's new

Nirbhay Cruise Missile test failed.

well no denying that Nirbhay dint work on its first go as expected so what there is always next day ...so did PSLV had the simmilar fate on its maiden flight now its the pride of ISRO what makes funny is how Pakistanies are so so happy about the turn of events today .....as they say rise and rise again till the lambs become lions yes we will achieve its in a way good for DRDO as they got the initial systems working but something went wrong in the mid way it always happens ...maybe they were way to much media savvy or maybe they were overcautious or maybe both now they will have to do there homework even harder and as always they will get fine results

as for Babur and its sucsess rates well its not diff when you have a copy of the worlds best to do reverse ingeenearing and with chinese help its not such a big work

yes DRDO guys are late as ever they should have done it 5 years earlier but the way beurocracy works here lolzzz

now the big mouths in DRDO will shut for good and atleast instead of boasting they will do some serous research work dont worry we have full faith in owr system

so in short work hard is the new mantra for DRDO

I strongly disgree.

Obviously it's due to the fact that DRDO hasn't gagged its men enough.

...try waterboarding next round.

On the highlighted part mate we have developed super sonic cruise missile at that time and are in the process of developing Hypersonic missile.
It is that India just set its priority on Brahmos nothing late here.

interesting fact is missile was canisterized from get go! good work DRDO. better luck next time.

Did any one know how many km did it travel on correct flight path ???

And you would suggest rolling TANKS on them next time

well bro its realli annoying when i hear of many from my friends in very advanced research labs of the western nations that how indians are doing such a great job in R&D of the latest wepons of US and west and the same indians doing same jobs at a such slow speed here for there mother land i guess its hightime that MOD does something about it here for strat they should give good funds to DRDO and much much better salaries and perks as given to there contampraries and NRI's in the other parts of the world

on topic i guess we have wrong priorities to start with here bhramos is too heavy and too expensive to be used in huge numbers owr prioities should have been to develop smaller and lighter and cheaper missiles that could be fitted on all owr wepon deliveri platforms like sub's . fighter planes and road mobile launchers which should be easy to conceal but we are struggling still and all owr wepons are too big and too heavy i guess we should work more on this

hope some day more sense prevails in MOD & DRDO over this issue

It crashed in sea or in land? If recovery of the missile's parts is possible it would be helpful to analyse the fault.

Debris of the missile was found in land. Full recovery might not be possible as the missile was destroyed by DRDO when it deviated from the flight plan...but study of Debris will be done.

Anyone trying to attack India for trying and this one failure is a fool.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
