Afghans stop 200 Pakistani containers

I am sure if it remains blocked for more 20 days they will stay wait for a reopening but will not use karakoram highway :)

LoL - We should also cut all trade and all supplies to your country.

Another good news: it's been 4 days that "all" Pakistani containers are blocked in Chaman border as well

thats a sordid boon by Afghanistanis. It will only lead to stopping of more Afghanistani containers at Karachi port

What exactly are your motives? Why you are creating friction between pashtuns of two countries?
I have talked with some turis, none of them were allergic to Afghans. Infact they told me that zazi and khogiani tribes of Afghanistan are their cousins and some turis also live on other side of the border.
Be frank with us, does your family has some one in ISI or Pak army?

Yes that's true. Turi being just the sub tribe. When kohat tunnel was under siege a lot of people in our village had to rely on Afghanistan for getting access to medicine and other supplies but that problem has been resolved after army intervention

As for my family - well not sure why you like to make things so personal here Agha but to answer your fair question yes I have family members who served or are still serving (the Army that is, as well as her sister service PAF)

Does it pertain to our discussion though? :what:

As for "creating friction" -- I'm not. I'm just responding to misinformed trolls.

And what happens when wheat supply alone is stopped? Cement? Fertilizer?

97% of your economy is derived from foreign aid (which one day will dry up). Your govt can't even keep Kabul safe without NATO. If I were you, I'd learn to be at peace rather than bite the hands that have been feeding your sorry azzes

By the way, KKH traffic during this season is more limited bc of snow fall and other factors. It's still a feasible route nonetheless. A few containers containing a few perishable goods will hardly inflict losses from our side. There's little else that you can really do here. It's actually ridiculous and comical rather than something that should invoke feelings of "alarm"

Daily Times - Leading News Resource of Pakistan

Scraping through: 45% population living below the poverty line, reports BISP – The Express Tribune

Even if 58mln it's double of whole Afghan population  and give me a source for 95%? our is not higher than 40% which equals to 11~mln people after 30 years of war and total destruction what a BIG shame to a country who never faced a war and still half of it's population lives under poverty line!

Even a poor of ours eats kabab and palow at least one time a week!

An official study revealed 42% of Afghans live on less than US$10 per month,

Afghanistan is also largely dependent on food imports from neighbouring nations, particularly Pakistan and Iran.

Donkey kabab and palao perhaps, but much of Afghanistan's food is imported from Pakistan.

definition: age 15 and over can read and write
total population: 28.1%
male: 43.1%
female: 12.6% (2000 est.)

Afghanistan has a population of 28.1% of people who can read and write, be happy you are one of the 28.1%.

I read in CNN that KKH is one of the most dangerous roads in the world and GB side is unpaved. Certainly not vible for large scale trade, such roads only benefit for supply routes to far flung areas.

Put it out of your head... Iran not going to do anything that will presure our Afghan brothers

Iran's leaders are smart too, when it comes to aligning with Pak or Afghan who do you think they will choose?

With Pak you get connectivity to China. With Afghanistan?

Moreover, Gwadar Port's success lies 90% with connectivity to China. From Afghan route we'll get some spare change.

Who the hell asked Iran to pressurize your Afghan Brothers ? I was referring to Pakistan's access to Central Asia through Iran & China; we already have a rail-link between Islamabad & Istanbul that goes through Iran.

China constructing railway line to Afghanistan via Tajikistan to transport ore while Iran is getting connected with Herat and so neither China nor Iran will need Gwadar.

Anyway, if that comes across your mind then you are mistaking

On the contrary I'm not deluding myself into believing that Iran isn't going to support them Farsiwans up north as it did in the past ! We're going to stick with the Taliban, thank you very much ! :kiss3:

Iran supports whole of Afghanistan. All ethnicities in Afghanistan are our brothers. Karzai is a Pashtun and is good friend of Iran. There is a link as old as time between Iran and Afghanistan that shall never be broken.

As for Taliban, well I don't think they are too fond of Pakistan either.

You want more suicide bombings in your country ? so many deads are not enough ? what a sick guy you are lol

Afghan Taliban !

Yup like Iran did in the '90s when it supported all the factions that later constituted the Northern Alliance - the reason why we made the Taliban to begin with ! Yeah I'm sure Iran supports all ethnicities in Afghanistan

Nahhh the Taliban aren't too fond of us but when I talked about supporting the Taliban...what I really meant was some posturing & dialogue ! Apparently we do both & even the US is now forced to do dialogue with them.
