US asks China to explain why it needs aircraft carrier

The meaning of "invasion" has changed quite far from the old times, today "invasion" means "influences" or "controls",...
No, sock puppet, it does not......And I challenge you to show everyone a few scholarly sources to support your absurdly broad interpretation of the word 'invasion'. If so, then we can say that China effectively 'invaded' North Korea. Given how China is investing in Africa, then we can say that China 'invaded' the African continent.

YOU once have declared yourself as an American because of your birth place, so every time you are trying to defense for your "home" country you must remember your original background, USA not Vietnam.
No, sock puppet, I identified myself as an American by virtue of citizenship. I was borned in Sai Gon. I know more about the military, its life, warfare in general, and the Vietnam War in particular than you will ever learn. You ain't that smart.

China needs aircraft carriers to give aid and make friendly port-of-calls all around the world.

If I were the spokes person for Chinese government, I would have just told them cause US paid for the AC. The interest payment of US debt in Chinese holding is more than Chinese national defense budget, so basically US is paying for all the AC, destroyer, J20 and whatever we are building. So yeah, if US is paying then why not :D US is basically buying us one F35 every day with the interest payment.

GOP lawmaker calls debt payments the 'red menace' fueling China's rise - The Hill's Floor Action

* if you pile up EU and Japan as well as Forex interest earned from HK then the interest payment is more than even the most aggressive estimate of Chinese defense budget. Its glorious to be rich :)

Good! You see, it is so simple. We ASKED, you ANSWERED  Okie, as long as you have no fighting aircrafts on board okie

Sorry, we need warplanes ("fighting aircrafts" as you put it) for self-defense. Otherwise, we might get attacked by Somalian pirates.

It depends on the response. Let us not forget that policies changes according to time and the environment. Not only is this publicity stunt not legally binding, more importantly is the natural need for growing powers to constantly increase its military capabilities. America is concerned because it's economy is in disarray and seeing its global influence slowly chipping away. :)

Yes, you can because of the natural need for growing powers to constantly increase its military capabilities - but you need to be TRANSPARENT about it. Read it again:

"And we'd like to have the kind of open, transparent relationship in military-to-military affairs," Nuland said.

"In our military-to-military relations with many countries around the world, we have the kind of bilateral dialogue where we can get quite specific about the equipment that we have and its intended purposes and its intended movements," she said.

But China and the United States are "not at that level of transparency" to which the two nations aspire, Nuland added.

So, if you are in the relationship with US, then you must be at the level of transparency that we would like to see.

What is the big deal then? Do you Chinese have something to hide and that whether the carrier would raise regional tensions?

The only thing America managed to achieve so far, is to make the world think how stupid they are. Well, I guess for a country so paranoid yet supposedly superior to be this concerned is a form of compliment. :azn:

Only you, China, think that way and may be some of your influenced countries band-wagon about it - NOT the WORLD.

So, you are LYING dude!

US asks vietnam why are you calling your capital Ho Chi Minh city. US asking muslims why you turn to mecca for namaz. I cant even believe that we take what america says seriously anymore. They are on their way out and history.

Good! Promise!?

you will have to talk to Admiral Shengli about it. All this talk of hot & sour soup. I might go downstairs to "Chens" they have some specials going on, $7.99 plus tax for full meal and steamed rice + drink included....oh woops i'm fasting, DAMN!

Else, we will destroy it at your own cost okie ...

at our cost? Wow I'm flattered and taken aback at the same time! Your national exchequer is really running dry as of late.

I guess you can't use your primary creditors' funds to attack them :D

or maybe you can talk to Steve Jobs to bail you out :P

Did US ask Vietnam and Muslims those questions? If not, then you are liar and should not even be talking
