US Planning to Snatch Pakistan's Nukes

Dear Sir, I have gone through the whole discussion. Sorry to say but most of your arguments are suicidal for Pakistan

Do you want to be another North Korea ? seriously if you follow the path of creating more WMDs and work on fear physiology Pakistan will face the dire consequences just like Iraq and N.Korea. Yo won't be allowed to import anything even not the life saving drugs. You will be sanctioned heavily and Pakistan will die her own natural death. All your friends in gulf will leave you and buy Milisle defense system. Pakistan will be like N.Korea just another goon of china.

What kind of life you want

A. Get rid of all kind of radical fanatics, secure your border, provide better life to your people

or

B. want to be bully state which is sanctioned heavily.

If you want to pose threat to the whole world the world will tke her own measure and pakistan would be an isolated state.

Read this: On the issue of FMCT US has support of China

US, Pakistan heading towards confrontation over N-arms issues | Newspaper | DAWN.COM

Pakistan already has over 200 nuclear warheads (by some estimates), so much of the 'global reaction' you are talking about would have already taken place.

Again, my argument does not state anywhere that Pakistan would 'launch nukes' at the targets I mentioned, without any provocation - my argument states that if certain 'red lines are crosses', such as a massive Western assault to 'neutralize Pakistani nukes', then the above mentioned targets are fair game. The point being that the world should consider carefully any attempt to 'neutralize Pakistani nukes through force'. If the West does not try to 'neutralize Pakistani nukes', there is no threat of nuclear war from Pakistan.

The decision to 'escalate' is in the hands of the US - they would bear responsibility for what happens, not Pakistan. Our position is a 'reactive one' - we will only use nukes if the US crosses a red line, for example launching a military assault to neutralize Pakistani nukes.

And how do u know tht a few of them are not ready to be fired? are u sure ? willing to take the risk?

Nukes in dispersed form are more hard to steal..........
A mated nuke invites an incoming oneDeterrence is not warfighting. You guys don't have loads of resources.
To make nukes

To make nukes

We have enough 'resources' for our nuclear arsenal to outnumber India's, and with the four reactors coming online at Khushab, the pace of growth in the arsenal is only going to increase manifold.

Wonderful, please tell us where!
Open source FAS has good info WAB also has good data. The image analyst in B-R also has compiled good data mind you this is only open source. The classified intel might be even more detailed

And I am sure the PA also has access to the same data, and they are just sitting there twiddling their thumbs ....

Even if the data was '100% accurate', and there is no guarantee of that, the fact remains that actually targeting and neutralizing every single one of those nuclear warheads, before any are launched, is almost impossible. Take into account the fact that the data is not even close to '100% accurate', and it is a certainty that nuclear warheads will be launched in case of an assault to neutralize Pakistani nukes.

Hence the 'deterrence' factor remains, and only increases as Pakistan expands the size and sophistication of its nuclear arsenal and delivery systems.

BTW, just because Pakistan publicly states its warheads are not mated does not mean all of them actually are not mated, as argued earlier in this thread.

That is the game because you don't know the red line ? There is a fallacy in your argument regrading the Red line. What if west sees as a threat and create a war hysteria ? They do not need to fight you until a very crisis happen inside pakistan. They can kill you simply by squeezing your economy, don't forget west is your biggest trading partner. The plan is to isolate Pakistan and you are playing into the hands of yanks.

Before the gulf war how strong was the Iraq but after it got sanctioned nearly 30000 children used to die because of lack of ordinary medicine. Think on that line. Do you want the same state of your beloved pakistan ?

The point is there are many ways to kneel down pakistan without firing a single bullet.

And what make you think that US won't use the nukes as first strike option ?

And estimates are around 80-110 not 200.

1)You nowhere have a tested plutonium design the previous Uranium are thought to be duds by the IC.Iam talking about the ignited two of the 6
3) You lost the fissile material race with India even before you

begin. There is a reason why India is pushing FMCT to 2014

Pakistan is not giving up its nuclear weapons, and with the 4 Khushab reactors coming online it certainly is not going to stop expanding its arsenal, so the West can try its best.

They are a little late though - the best time to sanction Pakistan economically and prevent a buildup of its nuclear weapons capability was back in the 90's. Now, if the West wants to sanction Pakistan and destroy it economically, they also have to contend with a massive nuclear infrastructure falling into the hands of extremist groups or leaders in the military, and in case of an attempt to 'neutralize the nuclear infrastructure, the deterrent factor mentioned already applies.

Therefore I doubt the West is going to resort to reducing Pakistan to NK status, unless Pakistan ends up with a leader like Kim Jong or Hitler.

There are many ways to make any country 'kneel', yet the were not tried at the most opportune time, right after the nuclear tests. If it hasn't happened yet with Iran, it is a long way from happening in Pakistan.

BTW, Pakistan has the agricultural and economic resources to support its population by itself, unlike North Korea.

Wonderful, then you have nothing to worry about.

Sorry AM to quote the legendary colonel"the US and SOVIETS were locating each others nukes for 50 years and the US made sure they were not lying on SALT AND RTART

1. What are you apologizing for?
2. What 'legendary Colonel'?
3. Your post above is incomprehensible ...

Parity has to be earned, and cannot just be demanded. If the US does not offer parity, then how is it their loss and not Pakistan's?

The fact, is whether it has been earned or not, the region needs parity, for its own stability. A partial policy will result in an unstable region, which is the US's loss, & everyone else loss. Whether Pakistan merits it or not is another matter. Some might argue that Pakistan can never 'deserve' parity with India as it has 1/7th of its population, & 1/5th of its land area.
