What Pakistan Army Should Do To Redeem Itself?

Army as a whole has lost love of Pakistan.
Please Give one liner what Pakistan Army can do that it can redeem itself and get back the love and reverance of the people.
Please only positive responses you genuinely feel, no acrimony.

For me -
Get back Jammu & Kashmir in next Five Years.
Including Laddakh.
Himachal Paradesh too.

So that they can get an excuse to corrupt and overthrow more governtments for the next 100 years? No thanks. Just stay the heck away from politics and do your job.

The question is, are they even willing to abandon their ways and seek redemption? — Don't bet on it

Simple. Act in the favour of Pakistan's national interests.

Don't destroy this country by bringing incompetent crooks to power.

The army should be a driving force behind nation-wide instituional reforms, implement a strong policy of following merit and creating productive and effective institutions. Discourage nepotism.

Honestly asking them to stop corruption is too much, but ffs can you at least do a good job of developing pakistan in all aspects as well. Other countries have degrees of corruption but not failed institutions to this level, and the development they do is sustainable in the long run.

for example take DHA which they run, it's literally being outcompeted by Bahria town due to the several issues it faces and lower quality

Make a cyber warfare unit under every division HQ instead of increasing infantry and other formations. Priority is the insurgency in KPK and then Balochistan, rather than India so heavy armoured and mechanised formations shouldn’t be expanded any further. Lighter, faster, nimble formations are needed under Corps HQ in KPK/Balochistan, which means smaller helis, more SF formations, digital warfare units, robots on ground, and specialised weapon systems against insurgency. Infantry should be converted for specialised ops, not just regular infantry battalion structure. India is covered from east, the menace is rising in the west.
As they say, a hammer only sees nails to hammer. I agree the thrust should be more military and leave politics completely. Given our economic conditions we need to reassess where we can cut back in terms of benefits to every government servant, be they judges, beaurocrats or army personnel - esp Generals. We need an assessment and report on the anmbushes that have happened already to see what was done wrong and errors punished. This should be made public.

India is our existential enemy. We will be fighting them eventually, if not in 10,50,100 then a thousand years.

They can only take Kashmir after they repent and turn to do the job they supposed to do.

To act for national interest just return to GHQ, and do the job they supposed to do and get paid.
In addition to, stop all these taranas...

be like Indian Army, Serve the country not self, win the wars not plots

When Pakistan declares bankruptcy, the Army will likely make the current government a scapegoat, throw it under the bus and bring back Imran so as to assuage the anger of the people. May be redeemed then, I guess.

Not feasible.
That would require a full fledged war with use of nukes in first week of war.
We are spending billions of dollars on them only for getting back kashmir from india , agar nhi lay sakty to band karo yeh notanki fouj wali

give up DHAs and Askaris, and stop asking for more. keep away from politics. if you have info about corrupt practices, help the relevant authorities, and not take action on their own. make a conscious effort to turn the army into pakistan army, move away from british army traditions and leftovers. divest fauji foundation, just keep enough shares for welfare stuff, hand over its management to corporate private people, the brigs, gens etc. are destroying it.

Tone deaf and out of touch with reality...

All these goodies cost money and whereas India is emerging economic and military superpower, the lumber 1's have rendered Pakistan a basket case...pray tell who is going to finance all these tactical systems...
