Aero India 2023

Well, you surely can believe whatever you want and as it seems, you don't know neither who I am and even lesser how much the US plays with India's feelings.

Probably you should ask anyone else outside this Indian dream.

But again, think whatever you want - I an "densed and know nothing" and India can get whatever it wants - but that won't change anything. As long as there are Russian assets in India, the F-35 is a no-go.
You are a defense analyst like several thousands out there. Each have their own opinion. There are no “feelings” to play with here.

We like it when the world pays us attention, but we are also very pragmatic as a nation. If there is a stick behind a carrot, Indians are more than capable of seeing it for what it is — and the US understands that. The public itself will oppose a move that will beholden the nation to another “power”.

We’ve made tremendous sacrifices coming this far. Our policy makers, like yours are guided by self interest and self preservation. This is contingent on preserving our national interest. Without it, there is no chance for their long term survivability in India. We’ve denied ourselves quick wins in the past to prioritise national interest.

I think exceptions will be made if required. But it will be tough convincing India itself to get onboard the F-35 train. They are definitely trying.

That is exactly what GE can provide - engines for fighters, helicopters, commercial aircraft and even power turbines

No you need different programs. They can give you for a couple of requirements, the others we get from other places.

No, but your politicians are driven by your people's feelings! That's it.

And once again - maybe it is so much hurt feelings that you do not properly read - I never said the US won't offer, I only said they won't deliver!
So once again: After India got rid of all Russian assets and only then, they can introduce it.

oh wow, so now 'they will offer it but they won't deliver it'.

Again because 'I feel it because of all kinds of stuff I cooked up in my brain'

They 'offered' but didn't 'deliver' so many weapons like Apache. Chinook. C 17. Predator, Poseidon etc. so you must be right.

Interesting that Army is also making it's own toys, and displaying.

The F-22 participated in the Dubai, farnborough and Paris air show - it means nothing.
Of them, UAE has been offered F-35, UK got f-35 and France could get F-35 if it wants.
A formal public offer will be made when Biden hosts Modi for state dinner and bilateral strategic dialogue by July

"We can keep whatever we want!" ... yes for sure you can, but then just say good-bye to any hopes of getting F-35s!

But ok, keep on dreaming ... but don't cry too much when you won't get your toy. :omghaha:
Yes, just like American sanction upon buying Russian oil. Was it you or some other guy?

work on your reading and comprehension skills. Just because an aircraft participates in an air show it doesn't mean that aircraft is on offer or is even sought by the host nation. India isn't interested in the F-35 nor is the F-35 offered to India.

It means there are customers coming there who they want to impress.
