Where is Islam in Islamic Republic of Pakistan?

all above you mentioned yet you still live in Britain ? :hitwall:

England is a very friendly place, the peope are nice and the govt is good to the people (which includes muslims) - this is something we should and have to recognise, me as a muslim in the Uk appreciate this very much. i could even go further then this and say that theses people in the uk treat us more like propper citizens of the state then many muslim countries.

But you see when it comes to international relations then these countries (like usa and UK) they all mistreat muslims - they dont see us a equals - its a kind of contradiction but thats how it is.

i guess you could say that people dont like to s**t in their own back gardens i.e the Uk treats Muslims in the UK with alot of respect but they dont mind invading countries like Iraq and killing civillians just for oil, or supporting Israel even though they kills innocent people all the time.

Britain's main goal was to weaken the Muslim ummah

Britains goal was exploitation, looting and to get the riches of India hence why they defeated the Marathi empire via the sea so India was isolated and caved in to the East India company and British Raj.

Thats why muslims today in Pakistan are so ignorant. First they identify themselves as proud "pathan punjabi balochi etc" then Pakistani and then indirect importance of Islam (not talking about the spiritual aspect as only Allah can judge that).
This is where Pakistan comes from. Scattered nations, ethnicity, castes, etc has no importance in Islam. The Prophet said, “Believers are like one man”, because Islam wants the Muslims to be united, not divided. Strength lies in solidarity.

I am agree with you on this point :agree::agree:

If Mohammed Alama Iqbal was on Jinnah's place I believe he could have agreed upon British demands (just to get independence) but right after independence he would CHANGE THE COURSE OF PAKISTAN! He then would deliver clear message with actions that Pakistan's Ideology is based on true meaning of Islam and implemented the system which Jinnah failed to deliver.

Brother don't give conclusions we don't know exactly that what would he preferred

And may be you are right because i don't know much about those situations

YouTube - Secular Extremism vs Talibanization in Pakistan

Yes Pakistan must promote a "soft" image but in the limits of Islam.
f--k extremism.
Islam is a balance of Life.

lol what kind of video was that

Nothing wrong with what they are doing, they are just promoting the fashion industry in Pakistan to the world. Are they blowing them selves up? Threatening to kill people? Are they forcing their views on you? Cause if they did then that would be extremism.

It's funny to me when people compare liberal "extremism" to religious extremism. Liberal people aren't the ones who are destroying the country, in fact they don't even have a voice in Pakistan. Rather it is the mullahs who have deviated from the true Islam that are destroying Pakistan

I think this is enough for your question

The Qur’an indicates that hijab is to be worn to prevent women from encountering discomfort:
“O prophet, tell your wives and daughters and the believing women to draw their outer garments around them (when they go out or are among men). That is better in order that they may be known (to be Muslims) and not annoyed…” (Qur’an 33:59) [1]

The Qur’an has recommended this in the following verse:
Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that will make for greater purity for them; and Allah is well aquainted with all that they do. And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; and that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands… (Qur’an 24:30-31)[2]

The truth is, the observation of hijab gives women more liberty and freedom of expression, unlike its nonobservance, (that is, dressing in a conspicuous, revealing fashion) which is not only disrespectful to society, but also demeaning to the woman.

All of this was just your opinion. If you want to wear a hijab then go ahed, no one is stopping you. But don't go around saying that women that do not wear a hijab are "disrespectful" to society and is "demeaning" to the women because you just come off as being a close minded, judgemental person. :disagree:

One should not force anything unto others, religion is a personal matter and each person should be free to practise the religion of their choice without fear.

Okay.................................but i think from the verse of Quran you have ur answer m not adding my words in it.

yes exactly this is the basic fundamental of Islam. However illiterate, people lacking basic comprehension have destroyed the image by forcing their own distorted interpretation on others.
The best way to win peoples mind is by peaceful words and action and this is what Prophet Mohammed PBUH did.
Islam is not just a "spiritual" connection I have already explained this in previous posts.

im a follower of Sai Baba of Shirdi i read the Quran and the best teaching i can tell these so called religious nuts is if one kills a innocent it is like he has killed all of humanity!!

Sai Baba encouraged his devotees to pray, chant God's name, and read holy scriptures. He told Muslims to study the Qur'an, and Hindus to study texts such as the Ramayana, Vishnu Sahasranam, Bhagavad Gita, and Yoga Vasistha. He advised his devotees and followers to lead a moral life, help others, love every living being without any discrimination, and develop two important features of character: faith (Shraddha) and patience (Saburi). He criticized atheism. In his teachings, Sai Baba emphasized the importance of performing one's duties without attachment to earthly matters, and of being content regardless of the situation.

If these "Muslims" were doing the same during Prophet Mohammed era and in his land where he could interact with them do you think he would allow that to happen among Muslims who are "peacefully" practicing it? Please answer according to Islam.
Before you try to act smart and say "uhhh cat walking was not introduced during that time" let me tell you non-muslim Arabs practiced similar acts where women showed parts of their body for entertainment and it was forbidden.

And again. No one here is forcing anything on anyone.
As Muslims we all are suppose to help each others.

and also read my sig.
