UNVERIFIED:Indian military personnel arrested for unauthorized launch of missile| Source: PDF Member Rafi

India and Pakistan both keep their missiles separate from warheads, though Indian Brahmos are canisterised missiles and India was planing the same for Agni Missiles (China specific) for quick response.

There is also a thinking which is gaining popularity in India is to revise their policy of 'No First Use' which mean in future they might mate warhead with missiles in ready to launch condition in moments notice for preemptive strikes.

I understand the technical reason. I asked because if there is a conspiracy to trigger a war, why did they fire a missile with no warhead.

Are foreign military warships allowed to roam through EEZ without any permission?
With prior permission and information , of course
The international law is quite vague. But , a submarine is considered an offensive weapon. You can force it to surface as we did it last time. It all depends upon your will. If you want to sort out , there are many ways to do it. And if you choose to pay back the debt of Atlantique incident , with interest, then it could be arranged. Otherwise , status quo is best.

Lol...and that classified information is known to you for posting on a public website....amazing!!

By the way their are 2 Hindus, 1 Sikh, 1 Muslim and 1 Buddhist (schedule caste of India)....among the army personnel arrested so far....turned in by Chinese intelligence...
I hope you know how seriously to take these script kiddies.

Not even those posting are aware of such sources. This is trolling, pure.

Yes.

What rubbish!

Not in Pakistani waters, In the open seas, where military vessels are permitted.
So then Pak Navy should also pay a visit to Mumbai, Goa, Visakhapatnam and Calcutta all the way to China caressing Indian beaches 😜

I am sorry, this is an incorrect view. Please read this:

Also, there is only an unsubstantiated report that there was any 'forced' surfacing. How was that done? By waggling the wings of the warship that did the interception?

:hitwall:

It cannot 'caress' the beaches; it cannot go into territorial waters. It can roam freely through the EEZ.

Please correct your thinking.

We support the Chinese.

China says U.S. naval ship broke the law

Chill man I was just saying metaphorically. Means just at the edge of territorial waters. Why are you spooked that much

I HATE the shallowness of the posts in this thread, and am beginning to get seriously annoyed at some of the ill-informed statements zipping around. Yours is NOT one of them, and I am sorry if I seemed short, but it is difficult to stay calm in this milieu.

When you discover a submarine you drop sonic bouys near it, constantly pinging it. The submarine crew knows it has been discovered and peace time engagement rules train the sub skipper to surface the boat to clarify its peaceful intent
That was achieved.

Agreed, like the Chinese sub which passed malaca starit and vanished, and then surfaced in Pakistani waters in Nov or Dec 2020.

Yes, it had the right of innocent passage. If it wished, it could have done the entire transit on surface.

Ah I can understand. I have experienced the same frustration when visited any of the Indian defense forum or Indian dominated social media pages/groups. The suffocating bull💩 I had to endure there by lunatic fanboys and totally maniacs is very hard to survive there for more than 10 minutes. You would be feeling same here tonight!

Because India is getting blamed today just like Pakistan was recently

Ladies and gentlemen, Can you imagine the outcry, and the absolute outrage, if it was Pakistan instead of india that fired this missile? India would go absolutely berserk and won't miss an opportunity to malign pakistani nation, it's armed forces, and most of all Islam. They would want the UN and every other world body to sanction pakistan and take away our nuclear deterrence, and destroy our economy completely. The fascist hindutva terrorists know that, they always got the sympathetic ears of the islamophobe world powers to bully Pakistan on their behalf.

Our response on diplomatic front should be as aggressive as possible. We must question the validity and credibility of indian command and control system, and the inflitration of fundamentalist hindu extremists in their armed forces. It should not be brushed aside. It warrants the utmost attention of those powers that always point fingers at us, and question our control of nuclear and other forces, we must make sure that we remind them of the serious implications of such incidents.

I think nobody could comment about the conspiracy with surety or the motive about the conspirators until the finding of honest and impartial enquiry is made public .... but it seems very difficult
