Twin Engine JF-17 as per MODP Report

It's part of an official document, written by people in the know. So how is this being so vehemently discredited?
Well, it won't be the first.

2 Years running - at the DxB Air Show, there have been typos & Grammer errors in Spec Catalogues & Banners.
@Akh1112

No disrespect, but it's PAC - not Skunk Works at Lockheed Martin.

JF-17B had its first flight in 2017, as far as I remember. So in my opinion, Dual Seater design is out of question.

Mubarak ho, they finally listened to us and are making a twin engine jf-17

Frankly, it is definitely a misunderstanding of the terminology on part of whoever has written the document. If one goes though the rest of it, you can make it out that it does not carry much material nor substance. It is tailored down version of the detailed reports that used to come out earlier. Conclusively, I am going to take it as a reference to JF-17B and not a twin engine version.

Off topic but 4 DPs for FC and all of them under an Air Cadre ? No wonder we cry about FC lacking protection and defence equipment.

Ps: I am pretty sure all 4 DPs are also from Air Force and not land forces.

You guys had nothing else to do so you started criticising MoDP for a "SUPPOSED TYPO"?? MoDP is not your local police station or a jahil sitting in an office or typical illiterate Journalist. These people in MoDP are as professional as you can get, and I can guarantee their communication skills are better than 99% sitting on this forum. No joke.
The MoDP got more 'tegridy than everyone here. @JamD @Hassan Guy @Falcon26

Most likely typo otherwise some big projects being done silently

this time MODP report is strange, format of the report is changed completely & it seems information is censored & deliberate misinformation is planted in this report as per policy.

though an off-topic but another strange info mention in the report

now why do we need to get TOT for the assembly of T-80UD ... ???

PA is not importing T-80UDs in CKDs kits nor T-80UD is in production in Ukraine.
If it's not another Typo then I think along with VT 4 we may be going for Oplot Tank also.

Agreed. Dual Seater is not the case here. Also, Design Improvement header says that TWIN ENGINE JF-17 HAS BEEN DEVELOPED.
With digital designing, it is not that diffocult to scale up jf17 into a twin design with two engines just like what mirage4000 was(back then it was much more difficult)

However the real question is finances and comitmemt from a buyer

With j10 being bought it is hard to beleieve that it exists unless j10 is just a ploy and real deal is jf17D

Anyway once designed it will still take 2-3 years to be inducted

My guess;

Either a error
Or just a proposal

You want to get banned?
Shhhh...
Track record of MDOP is usually good. But its usually 3-4 years down the line thing

So as some of suggested this could be a semi stealth variant (like j31 or f15 silent eagle is to f15) called jf17

Doubt its a reference to twin seater..that happened 5 years ago

Pure incompetence, if secrecy is needed, then why print it?
