Iran helps Venezuela in its time of need

There are retards in evry country. As long they hold no power its ik.

I told you something about that previously. :)

And seriously...microchips?

Why not ? It describes that not everything was so glum in East Germany like you believe.

Eastern Germany was a shithole whose people ran away. It killed more than 1000 at own border, destroyed families and ruined million lives.

Yet there is the phenomenon of Ostalgie.

The only good commie is a dead one

Let me introduce you to my Indian compatriot @Sudarshan who is a Hindutvadi and holds the same ardent anti-Communist views as you.

There is also the phenomenon of neonazis. Doesnt mean Hitler was good.

Thats what eastern germans did to this vile regime

Ripped it down

So what about the millions killed and injured by the Western bloc after World War 2 and their countries sabotaged and regime-changed ? Since we are talking about Venezuela in this thread, right now there have been American government saboteurs instigating riots, transferring arms in "food trucks" and arranging for sympathetic food stockists to hoard food to create artificial famine.

Where do we decide what is right and what wrong ? How are you equating Neo-Nazis and Communists ? I myself have had a few meetings with the state secretary for my state in India of one of the Communist groups here and he was a good man, certainly not equal-comparable to some Nazi.

Hippies who were interested in drugs and rock-n-roll. Though I am sure some of these very people are now among the Ostalgie people and regret their participation in this "Coming over to the free world" event.

You call 16 million eastern germans hippies.

Do those who just escapes look like hippies?

You are contradicting yourself. I have told you that a Communist movement exists in present Germany and which would at least partly be a legacy from East Germany and who would look at that Fall of Berlin Wall event in a more nuanced manner. And there will be the older ones from the Ostalgie set.

It's foolish who want to go back to the Soviet era.
It's give up conscience who want give up communism.

BTW: Communism is not only explained by the Soviet model.
Now China is not communism, but we are still looking for the way to communism.

The communist party in Germany collapsed to 4.9% this election. As i said, evry country has retards.

The picture shows eastern germans who just were able to break though the iron curtain into freedom

I propose you to open a discussion dedicated to your different political views, leaving this " Iran helps Venezuela in its time of need " to the news required by the title, so avoid continuous and useless (to this discussion) off topic
Thank you

It is not useless and off-topic here. The discussion branched off from the mention of Venezuela and our young Greek member Apollon speaking disparagingly about Socialist Venezuela and other members including myself defending Venezuela and Socialism and Communism in general. You tell me how the discussion could have strictly stuck to the thread title.

And why did you decide the modern British political system of multiple political parties, five-yearly elections and all the associated complicated structure is really democracy and is correct ? I have posted to you an article of the pre-2011 Libyan system which was a party-less system where the people voted and discussed on issues directly. Hence why did you decide that the people in Germany who did not vote for the Communists were correct and therefore could impose majoritarian dictatorship on the Germans who voted for the Communist party ?

As i said, evry country has retards.

You repeated this the third time. I have already answered you. :)

Aren't there socio-economic refugees from India and Pakistan who go to the West to work in a similar-style socio-economic system ? And there is this article from 2014 about a woman from Portugal ( a Capitalist European country ) who was an economic migrant to the USA and died there working four jobs to survive ( not quite the American Dream :) ) :
A New Jersey woman who worked four jobs, who sometimes “wouldn’t sleep for five days,” according to a co-worker, died Monday while napping between shifts in her car on the side of the road.

Maria Fernandes died in her 2001 Kia Sportage after inhaling carbon monoxide and fumes from an overturned gas container she kept in the car, according to the New York Daily News.

The 32-year-old Newark woman pulled into a WAWA convenience store lot in Elizabeth, New Jersey for a nap early Monday. She left the car running. The carbon monoxide and gasoline fumes were the likely cause of death, authorities said.

Fernandes was found dead in the car around eight hours later when EMTs responded to a 911 call of a woman found in a vehicle with closed windows and doors. Emergency workers sensed a strong chemical odor upon entering the vehicle, authorities said.

"This sounds like someone who tried desperately to work and make ends meet, and met with a tragic accident," Elizabeth police Lt. Daniel Saulnier said, according to NJ.com.

An autopsy this week failed to determine the exact cause of death. Police are awaiting results of toxicology tests, Saulnier said, adding that no foul play is suspected.

Fernandes emigrated to the United States from Portugal. She was beloved by co-workers at the Penn Station Dunkin’ Donuts in Manhattan, who called her a model employee.

“She used to work like three shifts every day,” Parth Patel told NJ.com. “Sometimes she wouldn’t sleep for five days.”

Fernandes also logged shifts at the chain store’s Linden and Harrison, New Jersey locations, co-workers said.

“She was a very sweet person. A hardworking person,” said Ravina Ramjit. “She was always joking around with everybody.”

Co-workers said Fernandes often sang Michael Jackson songs at work, mimicking his dance moves on the job. She had planned to take a break from her jobs this Friday to celebrate Jackson’s birthday at a Central Park memorial, according to NJ.com.

Police have attempted to contact Fernandes's sister in Portugal, Saulnier said. Police are also seeking a brother who works as a trucker out-of-state, he said.

About 7.5 million Americans are working more than one job, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Those jobs often leave people short on income compared to full-time work, said Carl Van Horn, director of the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University.

"These are folks who would like to work full-time but they can't find the jobs," Van Horn said. "They wind up in these circumstances in which they are exhausted. More commonly it creates just an enormous amount of stress.”

Following the recession that began in 2008, many Americans were shuffled into part-time employment, working two or three such jobs to make ends meet.

"The average person who lost their job took a 10 percent pay cut (after returning to the workforce)," Van Horn said.

Workers in the United States are earning an average of 23 percent less than earnings from jobs that were lost during the economic recession that began in 2008, according to a recent report, as wealth inequality in the US has shot to record highs, according to variousindicators. Many long-term unemployed are considering abandoning their job search following years of stagnant economic growth.
What should this prove ? If some East Germans seeked refuge in the West then there are also people from Capitalist countries who seek refuge in other Capitalist countries. The sad case of that Portuguese woman is why the Ostalgie people in Germany remember East Germany.

but in any case it is off-topic, it's like saying if a person jumps from a plane without a parachute then you do it too?
if a user goes off topic and other / others follow him, it happens that the whole discussion is inevitably polluted by interventions that have nothing to do with the title.
as I wrote, open a discussion dedicated to your different political views and then invite users to debate, so as to leave this free to those who intend to contribute news or questions only with what the title indicates.

thanks again.

So what do you say is the correct discussion in this thread ?

I'll agree with my compatriot, you can't talk about how amazing Venezuela's system is when you live in Iran.
Remember how the Revolution treated communists in the the early '80s?
It's ok to help a country, but don't try to present Maduro and Venezuela as an example to the world. Come on,bro.

And @jamahir you know I respect you man,but I don't agree on this subject.

One last comment on this because I think sahureka2 is right and the present discussion is rather off topic. Communist formations weren't treated so badly after the Islamic Revolution in Iran until they either took up arms against the state in 1982 (Fadayane Khalgh Organization), plotted with a foreign power to subvert the ruling political order in 1984-1985 (Tudeh, Iran's traditional pro-Soviet communist party) or tried to impose "ethno"-separatist types of agendas (Komoleh in Kurdish-speaking area, Khalghe Torkaman in the northeast etc). The Tudeh Party for instance was tolerated for at least five years until subversive activities it took part in were uncovered, despite the fact that it was pro-Soviet and that the USSR was one of the main backers of Saddam's Iraq which Iran was then at war with. I think they would at times be barred from running at elections, but other than that communists were left alone until, as said, they themselves turned against the Islamic Revolution.

Furthermore as mohsen reminded above, Iran's Islamic revolutionaries have also stressed social justice and they also stand up for the economically downtrodden, not unlike secular socialists, even though they differ from the latter regarding the question of religion and even though these are two distinct political traditions with different types of outlooks and ideologies.

Tudeh is the MEK who later invaded in operation Forough Javindan and who was fighting the Iranian government for years during the Iran-Iraq War?

No, it's unrelated. Tudeh used to be relatively strong and popular in the aftermath of WW2 and during the 1950's. They were a significant player in the era of Prime Minister Mossadegh, the nationalization of Iran's oil industry and the 1953 CIA coup against Iran's democratically elected government. But then they declined and were superseded by new communist parties which were not necessarily linked in the same direct way to Moscow, such as Fadayane Khalgh and so on, some of which engaged in armed struggle against the shah's regime. The MKO / MEK is classified on the left but not bona fide communist: it developed a synthesis between Islamism and leftism / marxism. Nowadays the MKO has no real ideological basis anymore, seeing how it has long devolved into an isolated, closed-off personality cult that functions as a lobbying, spying and propaganda tool against the Islamic Republic in the service of western, zionist and, as of late, Saudi intelligence agencies.
