Aurat Marches to be held across Pakistan to mark Women's Day

Guys look at the NY Times Article here,

It attributes the rise of Bangladesh to one single factor - educating the poor (especially women).

By "power over their own wombs" I don't suggest getting free abortions.

State does not have to proselytize, they can provide living wage jobs (export oriented if possible) so women have better lives, which are a counterpoint to social decay.

But there is a time and place for everything, and a woman's right to an education must not be taken away by being bound to the house in a permanent state of motherhood.

Educated women make for productive diligent citizens instead of being baby factories.

If women were indeed educated - you would see lower middle class women decry and reject what upper class women are doing on the streets in Pakistan.

And working women don't have time to provide useless circus on the street for everyone's enjoyment. They are too busy working. Which also benefits the state.

I have to admit - that societies in Bangladesh (although in many respects similar to Pakistani society) have differences in social approaches and values. This is probably more true in lower middle class and the lower class populace. But there as well, values are rapidly changing.

yeah, but if the women are now all working and arent at home to instill the religion and ikhlaaq into the kids, then the government needs to ensure they are taking care of the instilling religion and ethics into the kids. which means a more religious state.

A very sensible approach and clearly described what majority of people (women and men both) want

I have my opinions on some of those demands, for example I do think a political solution is the most stable option for areas that are effected by militancy, but that can only be achieved with a strong military presence...anyway, that's all besides the point.

I'm purposefully avoiding my opinions that no one likes on both sides of the argument, because nuance is dead on a lot of PDFers.
Their leadership is also part of ptm and glorified those students from QAU who joined bla

Now do you see that statement in a different light?

When a movement supposedly for women rights views KPK and Balochistan as nations you know something is off about them

I don't.

The only things I care about are logic, reason, and fact. My opinion is one that neither these protesters, nor the people outraged at the protesters would like one bit, because nuance is dead. I'm keeping my opinion to myself.

Like I said before, a month from now, no one is gonna remember this, and next year, this entire situation will be repeated. People will protest, people will be outraged, and then people will forget and move on, repeat ad infinitum.

These leftists rant daily against blasphemy laws but can't tolerate a simple play card by a boy saying "more ugly a woman is the bigger feminist she is"

No freedom of expression to call a feminist ugly. But yeah blasphemy of Holy religious personalities is okay and is freedom of expression

The kid is my hero. He had the balls to stand against feminist dictatorship who use legit women issues for their own attention whoreing.
Infact he used these feminazi agenda on their own by expressing his own opinion. He did not say all ugly women are b1tches but instead he said the more ugly the women the bigger feminwhore she is which is his opinion. Even in west you should see what harsh words are said against these feminazis.
Btw women rights and faminazi are two different things.
Its like making bilawal or altaf human rights ambassador of pakistan when they havr done jack sh1t for human rights.
How many times do you see these faminazi donate something to the poor if they care so much about it?
very good movement for liberation of pakistani women .

you are right pak society needs it badly .

First liberate your mom by asking her to wear skirt or have your sister walk in street in a swimsuit 🤗

10 pages of INDIANS telling Pakistanis on ways to treat women better.

Internet should voluntarily erase Indian opinions as noise or clutter.
we are doing our duty for liberation of our pakistani sisters .

The people behind this have already glorified BLA and its attrocities what more do you want?

AWP the real people behind Aurat,Student and Mazdor march use that as a platform to push their subversive politics

When we call for ending support for all kind of terrorism we need to be willing to walk the walk not just talk the talk

We also have to go against people who may have similar ideologies as our own
Perhaps you need to follow characters like Ismat Jehan and Amar Ali Jan more closely

A che guvera t shirt doesnt make your terrorism support kosher

You are trying so hard to get me to say my opinion, but I'm simply not going to. You can keep assuming you know what my stance is all you want, I really don't care.

Like I said, the last time I said my opinion, I got hate from both sides.

Nuance is dead.

Just yesterday BLA attacked rangers in Karachi

If we really are serious about dealing with all kind of terrorism we need to hve the same sort of resolve against ethnic terrorists as we had against religious ones

Then crack down on the BLA, but again, I will not share my opinion, no matter how hard you try to pry.

Anyway, its over now, like I said, people have moved on quickly. This will happen next year too.

The crackdown against ttp also included going against their sympathizers I am sure you know where I am going with this
