Earlier, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian said that Yerevan will recognise the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh if it sees that Azerbaijan is refusing to comply with agreements made during peaceful negotiations.

Last week, talks were held between the foreign ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia with the aim of reaching a Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire agreement. The Moscow meeting resulted in a humanitarian ceasefire that came into force on 10 October. However, the ceasefire did not hold. A new truce has since been agreed upon. It came into effect at midnight, local time, on Saturday, 17 October (20:00 GMT), but both sides have reported violations.

Azerbaijani Forces Liberate Several Settlements in Nagorno-Karabakh, President Aliyev Says
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev says his country’s military has taken control of several settlements in the south-western Jabrayil District, along the Nagorno-Karabakh line of contact.
"The armed forces of Azerbaijan have liberated the villages … of the Jabrayil District from occupation," Aliyev wrote on Twitter on Monday morning, accusing Armenia of grossly violating the ceasefire.

Yes.
And a more recent glaring example would be a Christian NATO bombing a fellow Christian Serbia to help a Muslim Kosovo. I know, I know, you could say that there are Orthodox vs Protestants vs Catholics involved in this scenario but they were still Christians fighting for a Muslim population...
History is full of such examples. Having said that, there ARE alliances loosely based on religion even now.

The West (US and EU) initially imposed an embargo on Bosnia. This embargo affected the Bosnian Muslim - led government to effectively equip its forces and prevented them from stopping the slaughter carried out by the Seb forces that were armed from Belgrade. Close tp 200,000 died because of that unjust arms embargo. The West finally couldn't bare the constant images in TV and the slaughter that the well-equipped Serb forces were committing.

The Bosnian Muslims had good fighters, but because they were ill-equipped due to the unjust arms embargo, they struggled to stop the massive shelling from air and ground on their territory from both Croat and Serb forces. They've eventually prevailed. The West intervention was also too late.

If this is accurate, then main highway between Karabakh administration center Khankendi (City of Khan in English) and armenia has cut off. That would be one crazy advance in secret.

It would be extraordinary indeed. It’s 20 km over mountains from hadrut. I can walk 20 km in a day I suppose if no one is firing at me. There would be only hastily prepared token defences I suppose. Hmmmm

They blockaded the Muslims so they could be slaughtered . when the Muslims captured a strategic mountain and giant quantities of Serbian supplies, and started winning, these Europeans quickly came in to stop the fighting.

And you wonder why Muslims are angry and want to harm them back.

Good tactics now...focusing on easier terrian first and encircling the mountain area

Once supply line is off few thousands fighters cant hold it for ever and will force to surrender or leave

There is a few things that I wonder and not clear about.

1. The state of north east sector. It has been verified Azerbaijan captured maghadis but since then no improvement there. Some maps shows they are just at the outskirts of agdere some show some distance.

2. The state of Murovdag peak in the north highest spot in whole karabag. It was captured first day of the offensive. Now some maps show some does not. One Turkish defense analyst was saying they still have it and there is snow on the peak. And also curious about the sector between murovdag and agdere.

3. There are rumours about susa for 2 days now. Mostly Turkish sources say it has been captured or nearly captured. I havent heard anything from Azerbaijan sources. And it is kind of far away from all the verified captured zones seen at the maps. What makes me believe it is captured that one renowned Turkish defense analyst and the twitter page Clash Report said it yesterday that it is captured. I don't know if you guys know but Clash Report is believed to be run by Turkish intelligence. Sometimes they share drone footages couple minutes before AzerbaijanMOD. They always had footages not released anywhere else during syria operations too.

4. The state of southern sector. How far they went towards the west ?

5. The area between fuzuli and hadrut.

Armenian propaganda machine continues. They have posted this image to claim that, Azerbaijani TB2 drones striked an armenian school in armenia.

What these clowns forgot that, if one MAM-L impacts there, there could not be any glass left on the building. So these dumb-dumbs just broke few windows and took a picture of few glasses to claim it's a drone strike... :sarcastic:

just to be more precise. The death toll in Bosnia was 100,000, with 60,000 Bosnians dead out of a population of 2 mil.
30,000 serbs dead out of population of 1.2 mil.
7,000 Croats dead out of maybe 800,000.
and 3,000 “others” dead. Like like I don’t know poles and Swedes and Gypsies and Slovenians and god knows what group. Bosnia was quite multicultural.

Now the west recognised the country right away. Which was the ultimate victory, but serbs has all the weapons. And it was very hard to get weapons and I told about it earlier. Beg steal and borrow. Serbs can be bribed. They also gave their civilians weapons and my relatives would go door to door and “persuade” the serbs to give them the weapons that the army had given them. Sometimes appeal to patriotism, sometimes a lot of vodka, sometimes more persuasive.
Now Serbia was directly involved and so was its airforce, and it was devastating. The west forced Serbia to not be directly involved. And then in implemented a no fly zone. And they made a big difference. A huge difference. But maintained an arms embargo. Whenever the Serbs came close to totally isolating the capital city, the UN (UK France) would get involved and demilitarise the area. This helped. Then arms started to arrive from Iran and Pakistan and it was allowed to come by USA. But officially, it was a very strict embargo. Then serbs got hammered for a while until they did such crimes that NATO bombed them and then it was just a free for all, with generals packing their bags ready to leave. And that forced the Serbs into a peace treaty. And it seems to work ok. Not the best but, good enough.

the alternative isn’t necessarily better. Imagine USA and turkey arm us Bosnians, Russians arm the Serbs, serbs use their planes. We not have money for new planes, so we beg for handouts and turkey gets involved and russia gets involved and then we have 30 year frozen conflict. Then I have to go fight now like Azerbaijan, and even we win and survive the Serbs still get to come back and live with us. It’s not a better solution.

we had 25 years of peace and development, and we will win every peace. And it’s easier to win a peace. They stated the war because they were losing the peace. And they are losing the peace now too.
