Featured Azerbaijan Armenian War

There is so much misinformation in this conflict. There are no Turkish forces or Turkish air force who are involved in this war. Only the Azerbaijani armed forces are defending their country and liberating the occupied territory from an Armenian occupation. It seems Armenia is blaming every setback they face in this war on Turkey. Both governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey denied any involvement of Turkey in this war.
As they say "he first casualty of war is truth".

Even France is humiliating him. Trying to make him see common sense. Without much success

I had some sympathy intially with them but then i saw they took TWICE the amount of land kicked out 6x the people OUTSIDE of NK areas..

It was military victory for armenians..least they know that war isnt easy..

They would need a humiliating defeat to understand this

People here keep dragging religion into geopolitics. Bizzare! If we study history we get to know that many times the Christians fought on the side of the muslims against Christians and vice verca. Even armenians fought alongside the muslim armies so many times. We want a solid muslim block to take shape to protect our interests but that doesn't mean we treat others as our enemies.

Yes.
And a more recent glaring example would be a Christian NATO bombing a fellow Christian Serbia to help a Muslim Kosovo. I know, I know, you could say that there are Orthodox vs Protestants vs Catholics involved in this scenario but they were still Christians fighting for a Muslim population...
History is full of such examples. Having said that, there ARE alliances loosely based on religion even now.

Coming back to the topic... from a recent reading at a NY Times article, the war is going to be a prolonged one. The Azeris are doing a turkey shooting of the Armenian using drones at the same time Azeris are fighting a war of attrition where Azeri soldiers are willing to die to gain tiny territory in N-K, and that Armenians are getting scared and amazed by the Azeri resolve.

Unless Russia intervenes on behalf of Armenia, looks like Azerbaijan is going to prevail at great costs to the civilians and soldiers on both sides. Very sad to read accounts of cities are full of stench of dead bodies because no time to bury them.

PS. NATO will not intervene for Turkey unless it sees Turkey as a tool and cannon fodder to inflict indirect heavy damage to Russia.

Yeah, this war will last years. It's got Yemen vibes written all over it.

Occupation is justified by force. Turkey occupies Cyprus. Turkey occupies Syria. Power comes from the barrel of a gun. Mao Ze Dong said this. Who has power. Who occupies land. Who don't have power. Who loses land.
Exactly so now he should stay quiet as the force is on azerbaijan side

So far Azeris are doing okay in the plain, but when it gets to mountain it will be difficult. Think Yemen. Also, whereas the plain part of Karabakh are historically ethnic Azeri land, the mountain part of Karabakh are historically ethnically Armenian land that got reassigned from Armenian Soviet republic to Azeri Soviet republic by the Soviets in 1980s so the fight will take on an ethnic nature which is more bloody.

It is reported that Armenia asked nato to stop Turkey's drones to be used in karabag.

How can a non-nato state ask nato to make another non-nato state not to use a weapon that complies with all international treaties ? This is not a chemical weapon or cluster bomb etc.

They must be so desperate to make such silly moves.

Looks like Nagorno Karabakh is about to be cut in half by the Azeri Spearhead from the south. Time for the occupiers to go back to Armenia while they still can.
