I was surprised how Dhoni was happy with singles, but i dont think there was any conspiracy in the game, whats interesting is right now Danny Morrison is discussing this in the post match analysis, even acknowledging Pakistani fans who finds it dodgy, and saying why didnt batsman have a go at it even if it meant to lose, looks like a lot of people are questioning this

While this is sensible, but i dont think many teams have done this , India had nothing to lose in this game, they could have tried and lost, but winning it would have given them a huge confident boost

Dhoni had the second best strike rate after Pandya. He posted a 42 of 31 balls. I wouldn't call it worst by a 37 year old. He is not in great form in the entire series. I wouldn't expect him to blast three sixes per over to win. That was 10 years back.

Because after Dhoni the rest are bowlers. If he had given it a go at 250 then we would be all out by 270. We need a 300+ for net run rate if we didn't win the next two matches.
