Is Bangladesh Air Force planing to buy JF-17 block 3?

Never sell anything to your enemy friend.bangladesh will expose jf-17 in front of Indian pilots.even if they want, don't give them.
BDs nominal is greater than Pakistans m8... It's best to ally with them in a future conflict with India once Hasina the hag is gone.

Business or justice, our PM said stand with justice. after hanging so many pro pakistani politicians Pakistan should not do any kind of business with Haseena regime.
She will be gone soon, she looks overweight, and is probably suffering from some health problems at 72.

There are certain subsystems that are particular for Pakistan on JF-17. Export versions will not have critical subsystems. Since JF-17 is Pakistan's and partner developer is CAC, Pakistan is originator and owner of any critical components. India cannot learn these things from intelligence gathering using Nigeria, Myanmar, or Bangladesh JF-17. Of course the flying characteristics, range, and other also important data may be gathered.

Unless they are daft which they are not the IAF petty much knows what the flight characteristics of the J 17 are. Millions of published pictures, an engine they know very well, numerous airshow performances are a few key data points to point out to make this audience realize they understand the overall aerodynamics . However, the surprise element is the the electronics suite, radar etc. Long story short, though a BAF sale is unlikely it is very much doable with a censored PAF electronic suite.

PS: Air forces in general in this day and age with sophisticated computing have "modeled" out the enemy's capability .

You tube is not a reliable source.
JF-17 block III is promising light fighter but it's not fulfill put requirement even we have conservation about J-10C due to unreliable engine . We want SU-35/30 but Russian pushing MIG-35 . We have to wait for a suitable fighter to replace J-7 .:(

Not rejected we wanted 95% discount but refused by Yankees .
J10 jf17 were nice options but not possible due to politics

Next options are LCA or gripen/f16 if they are allowed politically

Yeaaa righttt. as if would sell our most modern tech to the Bengali just so that they can share it with their Hindu masters. Plus I doubt the Bengalis need such an advance piece of tech anyway. I mean who do they need aesa and long range missiles for? Myanmar?
Bengal is practically a subservient vassal state of India since 71.

However, we could sell them some of our retiring F7 PGs. That’s what they really need

Bangladesh missed the boat big time and they know it, regardless of if they admit it or not. It could have served as a backbone for it's Airforce like PAF given that Bangladesh is the second largest importer of Chinese arms after Pakistan. One of the reasons Myanmar opted for JF-17 could be to stop it's adversary from having it. However I'm not sure if they do have a contract clause stopping JF sales to Bangladesh. The only remaining option for BAF is again Chinese. I don't see Tejas or Grippen as options now as they won't integrate with Chinese systems unless Bangladesh goes complete Western route which could be very expensive.

They can always buy newer Mig-29s. Probably best for them anyways.

I agree but JF-17 could have provided them decent numbers. Maybe a licensed assembly plant which could have kickstarted their non-existing aeronautical base, flexibility of integrating newer weapons etc. They could still use heavies like J10/Mig 29s for specialised roles.

The mig-29 are high maintenance aircraft with little reliability. Ask Royal Malaysia Airforce.

BF still have many options besides JF-17 but it's a matter of whether they can get the right funding.

With anti Pakistani govt in Bangladesh there are no chance that Bangladesh can get JF-17, and bro do remember that Pakistan is 50% partner with China on this Project, without Pakistan approval China can't sell it to Bangladesh @adelphi :disagree::disagree::disagree:

Lets all hope that BAF gets the Tejas, it is what they deserve!! Their only other option is the J10CE as it will be common to their existing tech base.
