55 canadian $ for 8GB sound expensive even by european standard.

Looking at Indian JIO prices vs Pakistani companies. Its clear there is much more room for improvement. Meanwhile both Jazz and Telenor were recently seen crying about paying fees to renew their licence.

Well, the prices are low also because the user base is a lot more, Jio alone has nearly 400 million customer. And there are only 3 telecom operators now. So tough competition. They try to give the best to the people instead of trying to make insane profit. Before JIO, 1 GB 4G was like 200-500 Rs range.

Zong 4g sucks . I have to look at “zong 3g” sign for max of time and when it even show “zong 4g” still the performance is pathetic. Take a whole minute to even download a 8 mb file. Heck sometimes take ages to even open a page. I am trying to download a book since 7-8 days, 154 mb size. And till this day i am unable to do so. Heck, i am unable to update my apps sicne ages.


It 5:40 am and still 3g sign sbowing up. Plus see the notification asking me to update. But kitto karra kevy karaa...

Just read about Jio, looks like Ambani came with knife to put every other operator out of business. We will likely not see Jio like prices in Pakistan anytime soon.

He basically destroyed the thinking that a newcomer cant disrupt a highly saturated market. Business schools worldwide studied his business model. Just imagine, for the 1st year from launch, free 4g data and free sim. I consumed 2TB in a month. Also free tv with 300+ channels on your phone + dozens of other multimedia access for free.

Videos buffer and give you a chance to watch, though it take time. but thats not the case with book. New link of pdf file emerge for download, but before you get able to download/forward it, the full pdf need to load first. And in 4-5 minutes the link dtop working and you have to refresh it, mean again start of the whole process.

What is the use of 5g if you don't have industry/manpower manufacturing things that require it? IOT, C2C, C2X communication, AI etc

I have ufone sim. Pathetic internet service and too expensive. So i converted to zong. The internet is cheap, but quality too “cheap”. Now you saying jazz . Maybe i change to jazz, who knows. Lets see
