"The advantage of having a bad memory is that one enjoys several times the same old jokes and jokers for the first time." Nomination of Zardari who was investigated by the by the Swiss Court for corruption and money laundering, as President of Pakistan by another outsourced criminal Altaf Hussain is an example of Mafia control and toadyism in Pakistan?
He fielded himself as Presidential candidate. It seems he is part of the bigger plan (a) Indian friendly government in Pakistan who support Indian trade to Central Asia via Afghanistan (b) anti Pakistan and India friendly government in Afghanistan. While Altaf Hussain is working on the disintegration plan of Pakistan by his own definitions of 'provincial autonomy'?
Altaf Hussain should go to Pakistan and do his politics. There is a possibility that he could be charged with inciting violence, racial hatred and exporting terrorism under existing legislation if any of the MQM victims in Karachi retaliated in kind on British soil? Those who do not honour their words cannot be called honourable? Democracy without accountability is worse then dictatorship because trust of the people is betrayed?
The advantage of having a bad memory is that one enjoys several times the same old jokes and jokers for the first time.
Politicians like Zardari have drawn a door of family democracy on the wall,
There is no doubt that Musharaf's one 'sided love story' policy with India was a disaster? Indians are in a self-destructive mode at the moment? India has become a typical Berahman Racist State dominated by a small minority of blue blood Berhamins?
Benazir Bhutto was an articulate leader and understood the difference between listening and hearing. So she kept on singing songs of 'democracy' while she never believed in real democracy because democratic Parties do not choose leaders by 'will' and leaders don't leave nomination wills? Zardari submitted his papers as President and his sister Faryal Talpur's as running mate. Where are the Bhuttos?
Many analysts believe she became politically weak because of Asif Zardari's $2 billion (Rs.140 billion approximately) corruption? I am not sure if Mr Zardari would be able to enjoy the money he has allegedly looted from Pakistan? I asked late Benazir Bhutto in London soon after signing of Charter of Democracy, 'President Musharraf has asked for the return of the loot money to their countries'. Ms Bhutto said, 'well courts need to decide'. That is true. Then why NRO was issued and who is biggest beneficiary?
It is extra ordinary to see how Mr Zardari betraying the demand of the people of Pakistan when it comes to the 'restoration of judges including Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry'. His reported disgusting comments that my agreements with Nawaz Sharif of PML-N are not 'holy words of Quran or Hadiths (sayings of the Holy Prophet)'. Be careful Mr Zardari. People knows you are a compromised lame duck beneficiary of some one else 'kill'. You have proved yourself time and again. According to a religious history analyst, 'Iraqis are being punished over and over again in history probably due to their 'Great Betrayal to Hussain grandson of the Holy Prophet of Islam. They wrote to him more than fifty thousand letters of invitation with vote of confidence but betrayed him upon his arrival; they joined the enemy in his elimination in fear of the exposure of their own betrayal and treachery to the usurper." Mr Zardari not only shares his faith with traitors Mir Jafar, Mir Sadiq and Mir Qasam but also client to the same people?
That is entirely true for the many people in the Pakistani politics. The musical chair of the so-called democrats in Pakistan is making people of Pakistan weary of politics. Both the major political parties Nawaz Sharif's PML-N and Zardari's PPP or more less are being run like a family business. Javed Hashmi dared to open his mouth about this issue couple of times then probably he was given a shut up call? Zardari want to be the President of Pakistan, while he is already sharing PPP leadership with his party animal student son at Oxford protected by the British police paid by Pakistani taxpayers?
On the other hand Nawaz Shairf came to see Zardari with his brother Shabaz Shairf and his daughter's father in law and former finance minister Ishaq Dar. Asfandyar Wali inherited ANP from his late father Wali Khan who inherited from his father Ghafar Khan and so is Mulaah Fazalurehman aka "Mullah Diesel". These myopic Pakistani democrats cannot see further then their family when it comes to sharing leaderships?
The dramatic come back into politics of two arch rivals now seemingly friends Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari is a clear sign of bad memory of people of Pakistan but more significantly their frustrations with the control of mafia and minority.
Some analysts says that Shaukat Aziz took his revenge by making holes in the plate of PML--Q by orchestrating wheat crisis not to mention his support to the mafias like stock exchange, cement, sugar, land, private school and disappearing with millions of looted money for recycling in his finance company.
One has to see who cried the most when Musharraf left presidency? Musharraf should stay in Pakistan and state should provide him security as its citizen. His invisible protege Qadyani, Tariq Aziz ruled Pakistan for almost 9 years left Pakistan for Dubai, sold his horses to Abida Hussain for millions by international bank transfers. Saddam and Musharaf both had Tariq Aziz, both were from minority (Qadyani & Christian) group and both had alleged connections aboard. Â Musharaf's Tariq Aziz was negotiating with the Indians in the back channels and harmed Pakistan's interests' big time. Now his relative Rehman Malik another crook calling the shots in Pakistan in front of compromised Zardari.
Minding circle of international stake holders is deep and multi layered around the politicians, leaders, and power brokers that if one starts spring cleaning nothing would left? So what are the security agencies doing? Nothing much, everything is happening in front of their eyes, they are protecting very people they should be arresting and put in prisons? If journalists write about it they are blamed for compromising national security or being insensitive to the stately affairs. Pakistan's top leaders invite foreigners in their sensitive party meetings and in their inner circles for advice which poor worker in the street is unaware.
If journalists can investigate and report the corruptions of elite in Pakistan why can't well resourced law enforcement agencies? It sounds like some said in Urdu: Shreek e jurm na hotaa too Mukhbree kartaa - Humaa khbar haa lotraion kaa har thekhana kee (translation: we would have reported if we were not part of the crime, we know all the hideouts of the criminals). If leaders and politicians knew how to run stately affairs appropriately without corruption journalists would not be writing about it?
Democracy in Pakistan is like as, 'some one painted a door on the wall of a mental ward which every one was trying to cross and hitting their heads apart from one. Some one asked him why you are not going through this door. He said, 'I got the keys.' Politicians like Zardari have drawn a door of family democracy on the wall, which no one can cross?
