Is it true i was reading the headline earlier in the evening.

My brother was asking about details if it is really happening because an year back there was rumour in Pakistan that cell phones swells and explodes some people even claimed that happened

But seriously, cheap cell phones with bad batteries have known to get heated and catch fire. So better buy a authorized genuine phone and not one from the black market.

Banning Chinese phones seems like the angered, irrational response. Without Chinese phones, many people could not afford a phone.

Problem with Chinese phones is not that they explode or the quality .

Problem is that they don't have IMEI ,So there is a chance Terrorists or people involved in unlawful activities might use them,making it difficult for authorities to trace them.

On the lighter note:Chinese phones are almost the same price as the cheapest Nokia or branded phones(where i live).

By the way,Nott just Chinese but also Nokia phones too explode.
