What line of action do you expect Afghan Taliban to take againt TTP?

a) Go hard against TTP and ensure they are not able to operate against Pakistan.

b) Use TTP as a leverage against Pakistan. Give and take policy to extract maximum concessions from Pakistan

c) Down the line, join TTP as their ideological brethern to implement their version of Sharia across the border.

The official line from Taliban is that they have updated their version of shari'ah law according more to the Islamic roots of justice and equality for all including women. Their leadership stated that they made "mistakes" in the 1990s. Hopefully, they mean it.

This! Afghan Taliban have committed to not allow their country to be used against Pakistan and China by any such groups. They will honour their commitment.

TTP/BLA etc will be told by AT to disarm or be killed.

Even if Taliban want, they cannot effectively control the infiltration to Pakistan and won't be able to evict TTP as we desire. The only way forward is not to rely on anyone for your own safety and let everyone know that you won't shy from hot pursuit inside Afghanistan if any attack comes from there.

So you are expecting the AT to take action against TTP?

Islamic Emirates don't have to do or need to be asked to do anything.

They can continue to look the other way like they are doing now while Pakistani special forces hunt down the indian funded terrorists one after another.

Pakistan needs to be support its tribal elders in the border areas, now more than ever so the TTP can not find sanctuary should Khost and Nangahar fall. This is also why Pakistan needs to do everything it can to prevent a massive refugee exodus into Pakistan, in which the TTP could hide.

This is the main advantage Pakistan will have from now on.

Once the Islamic Emirates is in power, Pakistan can negotiate all sorts of military and security pacts with Afghanistan which it could not during the last 20-years.

They are the same. Butchers by nature. Butcher people of their own country. Afghan talibs would help ttp

Its simple,

Taliban will keep their word on Afghanistan not being used against any neighbouring country. Not to mention they are already at war with TTP Mohmand group. They dont support BLA and never have.
If you dont take their word for it, consider it their necessicity. Pakistan recognition of their governemnt is very important for them. It is Pakistan who is acting as a bridge between them and China aswell. With the fallout with the west after their military takeover they need Pakistan, China, Russia comes with defacto support of central asian countries, Iran. War for them will be over, now they need to rule and the more content the population is the more stable their governemnt will be.

Have you noticed one more very important player is also onboard, Iran, had it deployed Fatemiyon or supported hazara shite warlords ( they never resisted Taliban either)
The fall of the north without fighting through backchannels, Hikmatyar, Massood, Atta, Rabbani are all on board. Balk just went down without fighting as soon as ANDSF commander surrendered, Atta never resisted just played to the gallery. Now jamat is coming to Pakistan tomorrow including Rabbani and i think Masood aswell.

This was much more than a military takeover, it was done at multiple levels also involving bordering countries.

Pakistan has been very clear from the start and at the top levels the Taliban also fully understand the importance and potential for regional connectivity.

Basically Pakistan has to take care of the problem within its border now (TTP/ISKP, BLA and PTM).

First few months or a year will be rough, than it be peaceful.

They are not hypocrite.

Your statement has no basis brother.

I hope that will eventually be the case. But the recently surfaced CNN interview of Noor Wali Mehsud is exactly an example of the Taliban applying their leverage.

Here are some uncomfortable facts for us all to digest (these facts may not be 100% accurate, as the IEA itself isn't a totally homogenous entity): the IEA still does not recognise the Durand Line despite our efforts, they do have unofficial sympathies with the TTP, the presence of the TTP leadership in Afghanistan is at least in part courtesy the IEA, and that most recent interview was doubtlessly given with the consent of the IEA leadership... the message being conveyed by the IEA was not intended for Ghani, or the West, it was for us... a simple "stay on side, or else".

That message wasn't for us to stay away, that message was for us to get involved because it was already said "absolutely not" to the bases. That interview came after our clear stance to put some pressure on us that we need US for TTP(if not Taliban). Unlike Americans, the Taliban are people of their word, they committed with US, and not a single attack on US/Nato forces has happened after that agreement.

And if that message was for us not to get involved then why would CNN air it? because it clearly goes against US interest.
