there is a trick to make average sounding earphones into expensive sounding earphones, you use tiny amount of cotton bud behind the inner earpiece speaker which improves the treble and bass.

look into vido earphones

I have heard of such methods before. One such method is cotton and tissue paper combo.

Never tried anything like that before though, as I am extremely happy with my set of cans
