WW1: Russia, Britain, France versus Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman

Notice when Bulgaria capitulates the desert was occupied by the Entente. Barely any other Central Powers' land was occupied, other than Arab owned desert. And partly because of Arab Muslims joining the Entente for 'freedom' (occupation by Western zionists).

If Pakistan wants to learn from history. Look at how the Arabs were promised to get an free Arab state if they fight against the Caliphate of Turkey. Instead what they got was occupation by the Entente, so Greater Israhell could happen. Never trust the West.

First World War was fought to get Palestine out of Turkish govt control. Second World War was fought to stream line things for Israel, including funding from Europe, technology transfer and ofcourse military assistance. Third world war will be fought to utterly destroy Europe and USA. The reason is: they are required no more. If things went the same way as see them, then a big economy in Europe will soon fall on her feet. That will trigger a chain reaction, thus lot of bloodshed in Europe (specially religious killings). The biggest ever mistake Europe did was to support an snake in middle East, a dagger shaped country.

The state of Israel will become the ruling power of the world one day. How is something we will witness?

Keep in mind, for 2000 years there was no state of Israel and it happened in our time, a time of fitna, murders, chaos, especially for the ummah.

Israel only spans about 400 km. Doubt it'll rule the world.

UK is a small nation and ruled a huge Hindustan. Even in Islam we believe the state of Israel will expand its borders and will become the ruling power of the world. This is when the Messiah will come to sit on his throne.

Britain has technology advantage. Israel does not.

You are forgetting one empire that also collapsed during and after ww1 which is the Imperial Russian Empire.

Not really both ww1 and ww2 were just geopolitics nothing else.

With the aftermath is what allowed Israel to be born. I highly doubt anybody cared about the Jews when they barely had a empire or role in geopolitics. Jews basically served the various nations in both ww1 and ww2.

Ben Gurion even supported the Ottomans until he switched over to the Allies.

Lol Not sure this will ever happen.

I still hate WW1. It seemed stupidly obvious almost immediately in WW1 that the old tactics of charging across open terrain in mass had become outdated overnight due to technology like machine guns and better artillery that now wiped out whole units at once. And yet they continually did basically the same thing until 9,000,000 soldiers were dead, and usually for little or no tangible gain of territory.

Compared to other wars where brilliant, unorthodox and daring new strategies were used to win legendary battles that are still studied today like Cannae and Trafalgar, someone should've realized that even the newest inventions like tanks and warplanes weren't winning decisive victories and stopped sending guys out of the trench to slaughter until they could figure something better out. The tactics used really never caught up to what was going on and it resulted in an uncountable number of needless casualties. And if that wasn't enough of a failure the resolution to WW1 was a catastrophe and lit the fuse for WW2 along with much of the conflict still going on in the Middle East.

Years of 1914 and 1915 were actually different to the ones in 1916, 1917 and 1918.

Last years of ww1 basically were proto ww2 where you have combined arms like infantry, planes and tanks working with lightining fast attacks.

You also had various new weapons like semi autos, anti tank rifles, automatic rifles and sub machine guns being used albeit all of them came at the last minute but were actually very effective.

Lets not forget ww1 actually led to the increase use of Lmgs over heavy machine guns.

Most of these attacks weren't intended to even be completely successful and break through, just to keep pressure up on the enemy. The entente knew they had many more resources than the central powers and therefore kept the pressure up. Britain and France also did it to help Russia out by forcing Germany to draw troops from the Eastern Front to reinforce the west. War between the invention of the machine gun and the invention of the tank was brutal. Even with modern thinking, strategy with this technology level wouldn't be much different.

Dont forget the chemical and biological weapons used in ww1.

Ww1 by all means was brutal also the close combat too with the various use of blunt weapons.

I've had the same impression. Whereas the World War II introduced a lot of tactical intricacy, from numerous sabotage missions, involved naval combat, to just all out armor battles, World War I seems to be mostly about inept politicians curiously pushing the boundaries of their countries economical capabilities. It feels like the people put in charge of whole nations were given free hand in exerting their hubris, without any consideration for the fact there were living human beings fighting over nothing for months on end. The U.S. were smart to stay out of the conflict for the most part.

Dont forget the chemical and biological weapons used in ww1.

Every major battle resulted in massive never before seen levels of casualties with little or no gain. Yet time and again the high command continues its suicidal frontal attacks year after year sending men into walls of machine gun bullets. No one seems to have held up their hand and said wait a sec this ain't working.
