Another useless and stupid thread

No dear...If you learn something new...it is not useless

I didn't know that his father did call Miss Fatima that...I was shocked and this tells you how much useless our history classes were

B.S how can one mans act be put as a reason to trial his son or his ethnic community..

Lets put the facts as they are, you don't like Ayub because he tried to balance the demographics of Karachi after a mess Liaquat Ali Khan left behind by his action of settling a big chunk of migrants in Karachi, a political move , as he wanted a strong constituency to in the-then capital..... and also you hate Ayub for moving capital to Islamabad...
at least be honest on why you dont like him.these idiotic third class ways to incite anger wouldnt work..

Ayub effectively killed the SISTER of Mr. Jinnah....

And you are supporting him, it looks like

As I said we are facing far bigger issues today

But we would be more interested in non issues like the one you just created a thread

.
Yup

But we would like democracy like the one we are seeing in Karachi where Karachiites are made to struggle daily for getting even a drop of water to drink
The damn K4 and S3 is stuck since 15 years and we want to talk about what happened 60 years ago.

As I said. Bashing dead won't change anything when you have worse in the form of democracy

Bashing them, fair enough I agree, that it's futile. Correcting the historic record however is imperative. I don't need to repeat the oft cited adage about the fate of of those who don't learn from their history.

Also, I have some very specific ideas about decentralization and Karachi level local government and administration, as a means of dealing with Karachi's problems and lack of representation. You are probably aware that the lack of this has a lot to do with dictators like Ayub who centralized all power and neutered local representation. But at the risk of going off-topic, it's best to continue the discussion in a relevant thread.

By the way ayub khan was far better for Karachi and Karachiites than the swines ruling Karachi today

But Karachiites would be stuck with these random non issues rather than doing something about liberating Karachi from fuedal rule

lmao, ayub khan was the one who moved capital from karachi to a place close to GHQ.

Bro, don't get me wrong....

Forget about Ayub but did you see these feudals? they can go to any length to get the power...Heck if they can go against sister of Mr. Jinnah...they can go against anyone.

This was new to me and I was shocked that this is how Miss Fatima was treated....It is part of history and you can't ignore it

Rest I agree with you...Too much problems in Karachi as of now for/to study and curse past

There is zero percent chance of both projects getting completed in after next 10 years too

Mark my words

Same for Karachi urban transport systems too

But yeah let us discuss what happened decades ago by people who are already dead years ago

lmao, ayub khan was the one who moved capital from karachi to a place close to GHQ.

So??

Kia karun main?

Rotai raho beth k. Mujhai kia bata rahai ho

Mqm under your Altaf bhai supported 18th amendment. Wohi bohat hai merai liye

True. And overall for the economy and progress.
He was better mostly because dollars were rolling in the form of US aid, and major projects like dams were being sponsored by the World Bank due to those same relations. But the political damage inflicted on Pakistan in this era, on top of the vandalism of Jinnah's Pakistan done in the 1950s, led to the breakaway of East Pakistan, and also sowed the seeds for the decades of economic and political ineptness we've seen since.

A superficial analysis might paint Ayub as a decent leader for economic progress, a better analysis paints him as merely a little lucky in that regard and bumbling oaf who unwittingly ruined our prospects for decades to come.

hmm...so it looks like people are not happy

please close this thread or delete this thread then

@BHarwana @Moonlight @waz

Don't mind the negative reactions too much. If you start telling uncomfortable truths, you will find some opposition. It sucks when you tell people about something and they assume bad intent where there is none. But such discourse is necessary for our own betterment.
