Problem isn't autonomy but FINANCE,just imagine how much funds Pee Pee Pee has syphoned out of Pakistan in the name of Karachi.They are just rolling when they are sensing those funds going and them probably asked about previous spending.

Autonomy is also a problem. All bodies like KBCA, KWSB, SWM board were snatched from the city govt by PPP. if the cdgk would have had proper autonomy, like a true metropolitan city, they would not have been able to do so.

Govt is not banrupted its rooted and bankrupted 60% of federal funds plus provinces have their own funding

Federation needs agressive pull in funding even than it will take couple of years to breakeven..why do u think pti is staying silent

Federal government transferred Rs. 650b to Sindh government during the 18-19 fiscal year. Honestly even if just Rs. 25b of this was withheld and directly transferred to a new local government setup in Karachi it will go a LONG way in improving the situation.
