The title is
World Press Freedom Index 2019

There, police brutality against minorities = rule of law.

The only reason you know about it is because the Press is free enough to actually report it. If this was a country in black on the map you’d probably never know unless the story was leaked...like the Uighur situation in China.

When some minority is shot 50 US news sites are reporting it. That is why we aren’t in red or black on the map.

What a complete joke. Imagine if criminals scored themselves on their community spirit. "Very good. A wonderful humanitarian!". I can't say I am surprised by this. This is typical of western culture. Remember what they said about all those civilizations they invaded, raped, enslaved, and exterminated?

"They were bad. They did not respect human rights like us white christians. They did not have our rule of law. They did not have our democracy. That's why we "civilized them" with genocide. "

The most repressive and thought policed regimes are the rogue state, usa, and its vassals. Nothing comes close. There, police brutality against minorities = rule of law. Invading and butchering Muslims = human rights. Stealing a nation's oil = capitalism.

but but but...our dissidents have western liberal freedum!

just LMFAO

Your "free press" is a us regime propaganda mouth piece. USA is a totalitarian dystopia controlled by fake information and defended by the mentally unhinged mouthbreathers like some of the goons on this forum.

CNN is the most trusted source in fake news. LOLOL

if you weren't such a moron and actually looked through the list, you would see USA actually ranks pretty low for a Western democracy at 48, below Asian countries such as South Korea and Taiwan, if this list was manipulated, they would put themselves on top, no?

Top of the list is dominated by small, peaceful countries.

Is more press freedom always a good thing ?? Just look at the internet. I think fact based reporting is more important.

fake news about Xinjiang but no news about yellow vest on West newspaper.

I can write a news or more likely opinion based on facts to any white color countries above in very negative way.

And see if their freedom of press really work.

This PDF server is in the US (ie way over on the other side of the planet from Pakistan)...not in Indonesia and not in China...probably because over in your area "freedom of press really DOESN"T work"
