None of these people have ever read the Quran. They go online to anti-Islam sites and pick and choose verses and hadiths that are pulled out of context in order to further their own agenda.

Yes, Because sometimes I can google whole chunks of these and I just give up...I can't answer everything...

Does it mean that these verses are written for that time and may not work for today? shouldn't God's messages be universal, transcending time and location? Why does your religion always talk about desert and camels while mine talks about cows, snakes and elephants? If one has an open mind, it will be clear how shallow religion is. After all, you don't need religion to know that swearing is not nice and arrogance is bad.

When it is left to humans to decide, they create variations. Take dressing, hair-styles, languages, meaning of freedom etc. If it is not in religion, swearing or arrogance would be one's personal opinion only and we would find millions of flavors of them, just as we have millions of flavors for other social aspects. May you read the first post again in which minimal arrogance is identified and forbidden. If it was up to you, me and other people, each one would define his own scale and things will be arrogant to some will not be to others.

^ well Talon you see many peoples in backward countries are servant not by their choice but because of their circumstances and they are forced to do certain jobs which they didnt want because of these circumstances and they sold themselves or their kids to get food on their tables and its not surprise to see that many servants are treated like slaves and they do work day and night in houses but all they get is just food and clothes. Child labour is another example that peoples can be forced into work without their will

Well, I am aware of that...BUT what does this have to do with Islam? The point was Islam (according to its teachings and laws) forbade slavery...Now if a common man decides to legalize it - it has nothing to do with Islam...
