ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has strongly opposed closure of schools in Punjab and said that psychological war against terrorism is needed to be won, Dunya News reported Thursday.
The Interior Minister addressed a press conference today in the federal capital.
He said that militants aim at pressing an environment of fear by attacking easy targets. The federal minister said that roaming of SIMs which are registered in Afghanistan is not functional in Pakistan. Nisar said that the issue of roaming and SIMs would be raised with the Afghan government.
The federal minister said that he strongly opposes closure of schools and other educational institutions in the country. He lauded Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government’s decision to not shut schools. He said that Punjab government should not find solution in shutting schools due to security reasons.

The federal minister criticised Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA) Khursheed Shah saying that he took ‘immense advantage of his position’ in the House. He said that the sad part is his bears ‘Syed’.
Reportedly, the Opposition Leader will hold a press conference in Sukkur today in reaction to Interior Minister’s criticism.
