MULTAN- Senior politician and former president Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Javed Hashmi today said he will soon reveal hidden forces of sit-ins.

Addressing a press conference, Hashmi said that political parties and politicians were banned if he didn’t make efforts. He further said that the hidden forces would have started dividing the country in the second phase of the plan.

He asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif to observe patience, adding that democracy was the name of tolerance. The senior politician was of the view that shoes, eggs and others things were thrown on politician in Europe but they show patience.

Hashmi informed the media persons that he had asked Imran Khan not to exploit workers, adding that it was responsibility of the government not to show aggression in reply of political rallies.

He also stated that he had warned the PTI chief any person can be killed in result of violence in the rallies, adding that Imran Khan himself is responsible for the killings.

He also stated that politicians always chant slogans against elected leaders, adding they have raised slogans of Go Ishaq Go, Go Farooq Khan Leghari Go and Go Musharraf Go. He, however, said politicians should not push the country towards civil war.

He also claimed that there was a plan to oust the incumbent government by getting 10 to 15 people killed. He alleged that under “Plan B” there was a conspiracy to get any “big name” killed to send the government packing.

"Imran wants to bury the PTI and if Shah Mehmood Qureshi has courage, he should resign and contest the election," he said, adding that he had not met Nawaz Sharif or Shahbaz Sharif. However, the PML-N has announced its support for Hashmi in NA-149 by-elections.

Hashmi underlined the need for reforms in the electoral system. He asked the government not to be afraid of the sit-ins as changes were happening across the world.
Hashmi further said that he could no longer continue his membership with a party conspiring to dismantle democracy in Pakistan. “There are few hypocrites with Imran.” Javed Hashmi had resigned as president of PTI two days ago, saying that he cannot remain the part of the party which supports undemocratic forces.

His differences with the PTI emerged as the party leader Imran Khan announced to march towards Prime Minister House in a bid to press the prime minister for his resignation.

The senior politician resigned as member of the National Assembly and he will now contest by-election for NA-149 scheduled to be held this month.

I really feel sorry for him. He has lost all respect... With these stupid comments he is just exposing himself

Enough is enough. He should be taken to court in a defamation suit. He has already admitted he has no proof for 90% of his allegations. He isn't even a witness. He just 'feels. '

I don't care how much Imran Khan respects Hashmi. Personal grudges/likes should not be above the interests of the party and country. Hashmi has been damaging the reputation of PTI and Pakistan itself.
