Thats not substantiated by how the muslim countries are doing in terms of countries whose brains are outdated according to you. Islam when it was introduced by our prophet was a unique and perfect religion based on ideas which were very promoting of equality between men both rich and poor and even women to a certain extent. It was never meant to stop at what they had. They sent the guidelines to keep forwarding that very idea to a point that evil be vanquished. No where did it tell you to stagnate the religion.

We are talking about 1 clean man and 2 or more clean wives. Are you suggesting that because of my limited medical knowledge that family will be STD free forever?

STD are caused by viral or bacterial infection...Unless someone has hygienic problems...YES! STD are not genetic diseases which will suddenly appear with age...Some however, can be contacted through exchange of other mucosal fluids, say saliva but then again...READ it up before you suggest (Sexually transmitted disease - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)! A clean couple can not contact STD unless like I said other mucus is involved or maybe blood transfusion from blood which was not clean!

You should have specifically asked for an explanation for a person who spends time talking to an imaginary friend and then wonders how someone else can play with a doll

If you are translating this from a different language, you need to understand it does not make sense to one who is expecting it in English!

Let me try to answer in short - what you are looking at are deities who represent different qualities and are a medium to worshipping those specific qualities of God. There is no restriction on this and the no of deities must be in hundreds if not thousands. But you will never find an idol of Bhagwan (Brahman or Aatman to use correct religious term) as that has no form.

Ok, so if one says MR.XYZ is strong like superman, as tall as a giraffe, as good looking as Thor character...you will picture each of them: Superman, giraffe and Thor character but not MR.XYZ and all 3 of these pictures will be Mr.XYZ?

And some how a Thor's head on top of a giraffe with a superman's body is the same a Mr.XYZ?

Your STD information is incorrect to a point. STD's are SPREAD if one or more partners has them. and continues to have unprotected sex with others. If a man has more than one partner in this case another wife, the % of having stds is higher than having a single partner for the rest of their life. I do not see how that does not make medical sense. Unless and until you can prove that if the female having multiple partners is what CAUSES stds.

STDs can ONLY be contracted through an affected partner be it a male or female! So, if there are 4 wives and 1 husband UNLESS ANY of them is unfaithful, there should be no chances of STDs... BECAUSE THE NAME ITSELF means Sexually transmitted! It has nothing to do if all partners are clean!
