Why U.K has better relationship with China than the U.S now

.
I don't know why U.K has a better relationship with china than the U.S. UK is a ally nation with the U.S but they don't listening to America. Does UK concentrate on economic interest more than any other issue. Does UK care about Scotland issue ? Now. what are the status of relatetionships between U.K , China and the U.S.

Because UK see it future and interest withing the massive Euroasia continental eventhough it's an island country, and UK knew that US is not trusthworthy, with Americans there is no friendship nor brotherhood but interests, remember after WW2, US was the one who plotted the fall of British empire and take over it in world stage, because Britain had cummulated a mountain of debt , weak in economy and military, it couldn't challenge US's demande to settle financial institutions in US's favor. Ironically it was not China who toke revenge on Britan for what it has done to China during the opium war but it was US who has done us the favor....so I think UK had learned a great deal of US and see the true face of Americans.

If some said that Britain has betrayed American by joining AIIB, I wouldn't be surprise...after all they just simply retrurned some favor to Americans for what they have done after WW2.

It seems if countries agree with something the US wants they are labeled "vassals" yet the second they disagree they are "betrayers". You are great at spin!

Today..."vassal"...tomorrow "betrayer"..day after "vassal"...next day "betrayer"

Well it's not far from the true, since when US has left other countries to make the choice at their own will, it has always used the pressure tactic to influence the choice of other nation either with economic sanction, color revolution, regime change or military invasion, if these vessal state nations dont agree with US, they will be miserable. And about England, it was not me to say that Brit has betrayed American, a lot of western media said that and you senator also complaint that
"UK has constanly accommodate China and disregard of US's objection" and not even consult US before join China's lead AIIB.

UK is very upset of Iraq war 2003 betrayal where they are duped into a endless war which achieved nothing but casualties for Briton. The British are the few europe countries who escaped the Eurozone crisis due to their refocus of their economic direction. They do see the future in economic and not pointless war led by US which has no future.

1. Economic pragmatism

2. China offers greater potentials as a prospective economic powerhouse

3. UK elites despise the US for its numerous geostrategic blunders that also pulled the UK in like the Iraq War.

4. US elites, too, are not fond of a Europe that is independent and sovereign. Hence there is an inherent struggle. The whole FIFA saga is just one example.

5. Geographic distance. UK does not claim to be a Pacific power.

6. Nonetheless, none of these suggests US has better relations with China than with the US. It depends on the angle you look at it.

China is too far away from U.K, and not direct threat to the Europe ... so compared with U.S in Pacific region, U.K has more reasons to develop good relationship with World N.o2 economy - China.

The US now has a “pivot to Germany” policy in Europe, they don‘t say it out loud like “pivot to Asia”,but everything points to that. And who cam blame them? Germany is the golden boy now and the UK proved itself completely useless in influencing the EU,constantly getting sidelined by Germany-France and now they even want to quit it. No wonder they got ditched by the US, since projecting influence is the US only concern

I can see they feel a little isolated and left in the cold, the AIIB stunt is largely more of a crying for attention than helping China out of kind heart, but we still appreciate it. We know they still prefer US over China and we still prefer Germany over UK,but since the US is tightening its grip over Germany,I guess one can’t be too choosy. At least UK can still offer us some business opportunities and financial expertise, that‘s more than they can offer to the US,witch is absolutely nothing
