--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I might have missed a few events but all of this data is to show Pakistanis that "This is what we have been through in just 67 years" , invasions , insurgency , political turmoil , mass natural disasters , sanctions , terrorism , bad governance and much more BUT still we stand strong & United , standing tall against the odds and adversaries.

Today we are better than ever , more educated , more aware and more willing to change our future for good. We are ready to stand up in the face of the adversaries & fight back again.

My question to you guys is Isn't it what a great nation does ?-- if yes then we are a great nation and This is why you should be Proud of being a Pakistani - over the decades we have proven our metal and the purpose of this thread is to spread awareness and hope that yes things are bad but we must trust in Allah and do not lose hope - just do our best for this country no matter how small the contribution is.

Even though we are being pressed aginst the walls, Pakistan still has potential to escape this.

Only the people of Pakistan matter.
Like they say
"Jago Pakistan Jago",
if it comes true, then nearly all of our problems would be solved.

Also adding, this country has always been in trouble, but manages to get over it, easily.
We have the power, but need motivation and dedication from our Public.

THis is, ofcourse, my Point of view.

. .
No war except the one in 48 is for us to be proud of.
All were the consequences of our inept leadership.
If there is something to be proud of..is that our fighting men..usually those doing the actual fighting and not the command...acquitted themselves above and beyond the call of duty. Performing beyond what could be expected of them considering the cards dealt to them by their leadership.

.
I may hold a Maroon , Black or blue passport but my land (and my heart) belongs to the land which stretches from Khanjarab to Run Kach and from Wagah to Torikham . This is where i will be buried one day and be part of for eternity . Love u Pak

Everyone has their own opinion sir - one man's word cannot be the word of a Nation.

By the way , you have missed my point , please read my last part again - its not about being proud of fighting wars but being proud of standing tall & showing bravery in the face of all those odds.

Thanks
