What's new

Why is there so much hatred for India in Pakistan?

He might have committed crimes on Mars. It doesn't matter. He is an accused. And suddenly cases were dropped against him while his party is in power and his countrymen are whining about Lakhwi release in Pakistan. This is duplicity. And this is unacceptable.

then we also want Zia Ul Haq, Musharraf, Nawaz and Bhutto tried for their crimes and put behind bars. They have committed more crimes then any political leader can in his life.

I heard there are several court cases pending against Musharraf, Nawaz for serious crimes like Murder, Treason etc. How silly you want Amit Shah behind bars, while your whole politcal leadership including your PM is facing murder charges. and someone who is guilty of treason is living a luxury life.

and when will you put on trial your PA leadership for the war crimes (killing and raping innumerable) innocents in Bangladesh. I don't think any crime can be bigger then that.

Yeah, like if we ever cared about Jinnah's quotes regarding Qadianis being Muslims or Pakistan to have a secular outlook where state would have no business dictating its citizen's religion. Jinnah even envisioned Indo-Pak relations to be just like US and Canada. Again, as @Solomon2 said earlier above, we only care about Jinnah as long he suits our current agenda which is general hatred for India, Israel, US, Qadianis and blind love for 'brotherly' Islamic States such as Saudi Arabia.

yup u never heard of it

And the same hate is in india for us.
And the difference is...
Their number is higher :D

Whenever some of us start having a favorable opinion (or at least a neutral one) towards Israel, someone from you does some real shyt that pisses Pakistanis off. Take the example of the prime time TV serial "Homeland" , which was written by Israeli and he casts all those indians in it with one single purpose - to malign Pakistan and show it in a worst possible shape.
Don't watch TV much. Why don't you complain to Showtime or Fox? Why, instead of blaming individuals, do you instead blame Jews or Indians as a people?

You have given some example, I can also give you tons others quoting Noam Chomsky and other jewish people -
The who doesn't matter. The truth does. Concentrating on personalities instead is another form of selectivity to avoid critical analysis.

I personally favor having Pakistan-Israel relations established, but give us something that we can show to our people and tell them, "hey, see Israel is not our enemy, it is just another country in the world with whom we can establish normal relationships".
For that Pakistanis have to be willing to "see", yes?

Stop coming with such moronic posts. You are continuously releasing criminals and extremists one after the another. And then cry like sh!t when Pakistan releases Lakhwi. Your hypocrisy is unacceptable and won't help your cause in any ways.

You want Amit Shah in jail, and for same reasons I want Musharraf, Zia Ul Haq, PA, Nawaz, Bhutto in jail. They are serious criminals with serious charges from Murder, Treason to war crimes. So what hypocrisy?

I can easily prove your hypocricy for wanting someone Indian criminal in jail. You better worry about your own country, when your own political leaders with much serious crimes portfolios are roaming free and living in luxury.

Yes if there is a UN banned terror outfit in India who is detonating bombs in Pakistan cities then tell me?

I am also not whining about Lakhwi's release while hailing the release of scums like Amit Shah. This hypocrisy.

This is a general question haunting me ever since I visited my country of birth after residing 15 years here in Norway. Every other person I meet on the street, in restaurants and conferences accuse India for plotting conspiracies against Pakistan for reasons that are not very clever. They blame India for Pakistan's dire economic state, security situation and our nation's bad reputation internationally.
It seem outrageous to blame your (enemy) neighbor for your own collective shortcomings. But when you see things with open mind, it becomes clear that future of the nation is in our own hands and not in our neighbors', so why blame them for almost everything bad and ugly in Pakistan?

Note: Indian members of PDF are NOT welcome for reply on this thread to avoid trolling. I am sorry but I had to place this notice as a precaution :)

Hi,

Because nobody has shown them the mirror----because it is a lack of character and teachings----because it is difficult to take the blame---because it is easier to tell a lie than to speak the truth---.

Ahmadis are Muslims, If They Say They are Muslims and No One, Not Even the Sovereign Legislature, has the Right to Say Otherwise.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah, 05 May 1944
I have been asked a disturbing question, as to who among the Muslims can be a member of the Muslim Conference. It has been asked with particular reference to the Qadianis. My reply is that, as far as the constitution of the All-India Muslim League is concerned, it stipulates that any Muslim, without distinction of creed or sect, can become a member, provided he accepts the views, policy and programme of the Muslim League, signs the form of membership and pays the subscription. I appeal to the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir not to raise sectarian questions, but instead to unite on one platform under one banner. In this lies the welfare of the Muslims. In this way, not only can Muslims make political and social progress effectively, but so can other communities, and so also can the state of Kashmir as a whole. What right have I to declare a person non-Muslim, when he claims to be a Muslim
Muhammad Ali Jinnah, 23rd May, 1944, Srinagar
Tahrik Huriyyat Kashmir (History of Independence Movements in Kashmir), volume 2, 1936 - 1945, page 291)

I cannot emphasize it too much. We should begin to work in that spirit and in course of time all these angularities of the majority and minority communities, the Hindu community and the Muslim community, because even as regards Muslims you have Pathans, Punjabis, Shia's, Sunnis and so on, and among the Hindus you have Brahmins, Vashnavas, Khatris, also Bengalis, Madrasis and so on, will vanish. Indeed if you ask me, this has been the biggest hindrance in the way of India to attain the freedom and independence and but for this we would have been free people long long ago. No power can hold another nation, and specially a nation of 400 million souls in subjection; nobody could have conquered you, and even if it had happened, nobody could have continued its hold on you for any length of time, but for this. Therefore, we must learn a lesson from this. You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any other place or worship in this state of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste or creed that has nothing to do with the business of the state.
Jinnah, August 11, 1947 –chairing the constituent assembly.

The constitution of Pakistan has yet to be framed by the Pakistan Constituent Assembly. I do not know what the ultimate shape of this constitution is going to be, but I am sure that it will be of a democratic type, embodying the essential principle of Islam. Today, they are as applicable in actual life as they were 1,300 years ago. Islam and its idealism have taught us democracy. It has taught equality of man, justice and fairplay to everybody. We are the inheritors of these glorious traditions and are fully alive to our responsibilities and obligations as framers of the future constitution of Pakistan. In any case Pakistan is not going to be a theocratic State to be ruled by priests with a divine mission. We have many non-Muslims—Hindus, Christians, and Parsis — but they are all Pakistanis. They will enjoy the same rights and privileges as any other citizens and will play their rightful part in the affairs of Pakistan.
Broadcast talk to the people of the United States on Pakistan recorded February, 1948.

How many percentage of Pakistanis today are following Jinnah's above quotes that they are feeling the urge and need to follow Jinnah's quotes regarding Israel out of mere hatred for Israeli Jews aka. Islamic antisemitism that is broadcasted 24/7 from our Fatwa factories called mosques?

Hypocricy is comparing Lakhwi to Amit Shah. Lakhwi killed Indians in India and is head of a UN banned terrorist organisation.

Amit shah is accused of killing some Indian, but has nothing to do against Pakistan ever. He is accused just like an of your political leaders from Nawaz, to Musharraf to Zia to Bhutto.

There is no comparison between two. But if you insist on his arrest, then I also insist on arrest of Zia, Bhutto, Nawaz, Musharraf. They are also accused of Murder, Treason, War Crimes just like Amit Shah is accused of a murder.

Hypocrisy is hailing a criminal as a hero and praising his release while whining and moaning on the release of another accused. It is simple. STFU about Lakhwi release and bail and I don't care what you do with your "hero" Amt Shah.

As said before. Where he committed his crimes doesn't matter. What matters is he is a criminal and an accused.

This is true. 90 percent Pakistanis hate India. It’s simply an evil character in Pakistanis public mind. Reasons are many including historical (partition of India and the associated atrocities), religious differences, occupation of Kashmir, political differences and the narrative build by the state after partition.
And this narrative is not going to change in future. And no need to change it.

I've read a number of accounts written by Westerners who attribute these failings to Pakistanis specifically. The Aramco guys, for example, write that a Saudi would probably never lie under oath in a Sharia court - he'd rather resist taking an oath in the first place link. On the other hand, British accounts of the Raj are full of administrators' claims that "Indians" (this was NW India) had no compunctions about lying under oath; even if they were only the tenth cousin of the accused they would lie to provide an alibi to protect him. This made successful criminal prosecutions nearly impossible (sorry, can't find the link).

With contrasts like this, one can understand why the Brits thought more Islam was the solution to many woes. What they didn't realize, perhaps, was that without a conscience - in the Saudi example, fear of G-d - more religion would serve less as a brake on individuals' transgressions than as a tool to be exploited by the greedy and ambitious.

Sorry to butt in here .. but I want to know something. people here claim to bed indian girls like a badge of honor and call them whores. I wonder what they call the kids borne out of such relationships? What value their mothers carry in the eyes of average Pakistani here.
@Syed.Ali.Haider can you shed some light on this one?

No Sir, I am not touching this one.
