Cultural sites recorded a major rise in the tourist inflow from 1.6 million visits in 2014 to a striking rise of 6.6 million visits in 2018. Domestic tourism exceeded 6.006 billion person times and consumption exceeded 6.63 trillion CNY. Chinese people generally have a good sense of Pakistan. If Pakistan can solve the security problem, Pakistan's tourism industry will certainly achieve amazing growth.

These figures are incorrect. Sadly the truth is. Out of the 6.6 million tourists only ten are genuine tourists -

• two came because they were married to Pakistani men
• two came to attend radical courses in madaris
• one made mistake and came for drug peddling
• five came because they were sponsored to do Vlogs about Pakistan and had 20 police guards hidden behind the cameras.

In 2019, 250000 Chinese tourists visited India and 380000 Chinese tourists visited Pakistan. Although the number of Chinese tourists to Pakistan is small, the number of Chinese tourists to India is even smaller.
