Why is Chinese president not visiting Bangladesh ?

Well, maybe they don't have any strategic talks to be done with Bangladesh?

With India it's trade. Pakistan and Srilanka offer trade plus geo-strategic goals as well.

.
Isn't visiting India the same as Visiting Bangladesh.:D
Chinese President knows if you visit India is the same as visiting Bangladesh as its a Indian state.:p

Lol...you were formed in 1971! Centuries...!!??

We have a civilizational history of 5000 years, the region had different names at different stages, Gangaridai, Vanga, Bangalah, Bengal and now Bangladesh!

As for BD-China relations, the first known interaction between the two countries was during the visit of Xuanzang to Bangladesh in the 7th century. The relations reached new heights during the time of Bengal Sultanate and Ming Empire. Sultan Gyasuddin Azam Shah and Emperor Yongle were close friends!

We share the same history. It's not as if bangladesh used to be a separate entity in history.

Also the Buddhist monk Atisa visited Tibet, played an important role in the Tibetan Buddhism

What could he possibly discuss with a Bangladeshi 'Head of State', everybody knows that the occupant of 7 RCR is the real ruler of that de-facto Indian state.

That's right! Admiral Zheng He paid several visits to Chittagong as Bengal Sultanate and Ming Dynasty had excellent relations! Sultan Gyasudding Azam Shah and Emperor Yongle also exchanged ambassadors to strengthen the ties!

Atisa was a great monk from Bikampur in central Bangladesh and as you said he was quite influential in expanding the Tibetan Buddhism!

.
B'coz President of China is a smart person, he knows instead of talking to Hasina it's better to talk to Mr. Alok Joshi.
