Why I love visiting Pakistan and go back every year

@The Diplomat
Take care with the street food and ice cream, I don't have much trust in it but you may try Lahori fish.
There's not much extra which is not available to you in UK. Still, you may visit various museums in Lahore, Gymkhana club, Indian border... actually 15 years ago most interesting thing in Lahore used to be Lahoris, but I suppose its not same any more.
I do try to be careful; I know that food is not of the best quality in Lahore or well I could say it through out Pakistan laikin kia keray Lahori kano ka apna chaska hai...

The border is great, I went to BRB towards the Barki side and was imagining what was going on in the area during '65.

Lahore sure used to be different; More locals and less people from other cities, it's hard to find a real Lahori these days, I can recall from a book that my late grandfather had that at least my past 6 generations are from Lahore, I have no idea prior to that and I do have eminence pride in that.

I've never really been to Gymkhana, It's very famous and not too far from where I usually roam around... Will probably visit this time.

Shalimar Gardens have taken a turn to the worst, It's nothing like it used to be in 2005/6. I hope they clean it up! It used to be a good place to go with family on the other hand Jallo Park is great.

Tickets sold at 2000rs each which covers food/drinks and there could be an actual award show.

Free drinks in 2000rs. that would attract a huge crowd.

My escape from life is going North towards Skardu and staying in The Shangrila Hotel or crossing Abbottabad Lake on a boat,

Its Attabad lake not Abbottabad lake ......

Usually replying on my phone and for some reason it keeps correcting my wording... Autocorrect is off aswell so I have no idea why...
If you look at my posts, most will be edited and errors fixed because of it...
Good to know some one was reading it carefully.

Abbottabad isn't recognised by Americans in their dictionary, so please don't blame autocorrect. :p:

And its winters in Pakistan, are you excited about your trip that you intend to make in May --- June?
