Why Europeans stopped wearing The Hijab

The major changes happened after World War 1 & World War 2

Prior to World War 1 people wore, Suits the more professional you looked the more respected you were on society, it was age of classical music

Women similarly wore complex clothes generally full covered bodies

During the war, large % of Male population perished so women were pushed into Working for themselves, even doing hard labor. Also, people became tired of the Military "Uniform" culture thus more and more clothing choices emerged which were seen as anti-Uniform

Eventually the generation post World War 2 was inclined to dress more freely and try to make most of their lives as they had just witnessed a brutal war.
The clothing attitudes continued to change post World War 2

Accelerating between 60's and 70's together with the Cannabis boom and drifting away from mainstream concepts restricting your joy of life
60's and 70's were also years where many idealists saw their ideals about society fail due to prolonged wars in world (North Korea, Cambodia, Viet Nam...)

These wars have continued even in modern day (In Middle east)
Even in Middle east there were times when people were fed up with war

There are large demographics even in West who still do believe in a quite private life, focusing on simple living and away from the flashes of camera

In summary, 100 years have passed since attitudes started to change
The people or societies which have left behind their conservative views, find they are widely different from conservative societies

But I still find even in Western Societies there are people who believe in conservative form of life, dressing modestly and living a life centered around afterlife. It is just that the mainstream media does not carries their stories

However, the 60's-Present also saw a booming in fashion segment in Europe which pushed forward the agenda of less is more, less clothes is more business, and gradually they started to convince society that their "Less clothes is more fashion" brand is what people desire and it started to forge a mindset we witness today in Fashion shows, and Advertisement. Why sell a 3-piece suit when you can sell women bikini and make more money? Eventually after 40 years of this mindset, the average person don't even recall how people dressed mere 100 years ago

Alot of these ideals were brainchild of Marketing department of Fashion Industry
"Less is more" , it's bold, it's what Young People want, majority of time these were middle aged men who came up with these slogans and they hired a army of Models to help promote these ideals every day in news papers and advertisement ciruclated 24/7 , 365 days a year for last 50 years

The idealogy of less is more is implanted early in minds of Youth and it's happed as such for last 50 years. Which is why many folks feel head covers are a foreign concept

2020-Present we are living the age of Digital Generation, the Tik Tok generation
Crazier, less fearful of camera

However, the hard stance that certain European nations have about certain dress codes such as Hijab is over top, they seem to not remember that mere 100 years ago everyone in their country wore head covering of some sort
