Why does North Korea have a poor military ranking even less than Indonesia, Australia, Brazil etc when they have powerful nuclear weapons like ICBMs, IRBMs?

. .
The ranking based on conventional weapons
Strange. Nuclear weapons are also weapons and not many country can make nukes. I think adding nuclear weapons in rankings like GFP can give some recognition to the effort of countries who developed nukes.

Yeah, it should be like that and I guess all nuclear states should be in first rankings.
usa,russia,china,pakistan,india,north korea,france,uk and zionists

When it comes to these internet rankings, usually people only take them seriously when they show their country as being ranked high, and they use it to make themselves feel better. In reality, there is so much more to capability than just a quantitive assessment of conventional forces. Of course a nation with a nuclear weapon and their delivery capability has much more advantage than one which has not got this capability. My advise to you is don't pay attention to these rankings. In practise they mean very little.

One more thing. All these rankings like GFP and others only shows the condition of army during peacetime. However during a warlike situtation, things might be different.

In a war deployment capability matters. For example China is far more powerful militarily than Thailand. Let's say China has around 2000 tanks and 5 million soldiers whereas Thailand has 500 tanks and 400000 soldiers. Now unlike peacetime it might occur that China is being able to deploy only 200 tanks and 200000 soldiers while Thailand is being able to deploy 400 tanks and 300000 soldiers. In this scenario Thailand will easily win.

Like I said, there are many factors to consider. A major one not being considered by these rankings is the indigenous capability of nations. You can have a large number of advanced assets on paper, but if all these are imported, then in a mid-long conflict, that nation may not be able to import the necessary parts on time or at all to repair systems. Another really important example is how wars are actually fought. Not all wars will be conventional in nature. Consider Iran's war waging methodology. This method was taught to its allied group Hezbollah which defeated a much larger conventional force in the form of Israel. Now on paper, do you think these internet rankings would have led to you to conclude that Israel would fail in its military campaign?

In life you have perceptions and actual reality of situations. These rankings only give you a misguided perception.

Weak economy and weak conventional weapon.

Sometimes I wonder how did DPRK manage to produce ICBMs with such a small economy. Lol

Different regime, different focus, Indonesia also has been able to launch rocket in 1960's during Soekarno regime but Soeharto dont have ambition on it and focus more on economic development. Indonesia also has had nuclear reactor, starting in 1960's during Soekarno regime but during 32 years under Soeharto we dont try to develop nuclear weapon. Soekarno is more ambitious, more like Chinese and North Korea type of leader in term of defense industry.

Kartika I is an Indonesian sounding rocket built by LAPAN, AURI, Bandung Institute of Technology, and Pindad under PRIMA (Sounding and Military Rocket Development Project/Indonesian: Proyek Pengembangan Roket Ilmiah dan Militer Awal) project. This rocket was launched on August 14, 1964 in LAPAN Rocket Launching Station Pameungpeuk, West Java, becoming the first sounding rocket ever launched in Indonesia, and the second in Asia after Japan through Kappa Rocket.

History
On May 31, 1962, Indonesian government under Sukarno commenced aeronautics exploration when the Aeronautics Committee was established by the Indonesian Vice Prime Minister I, Juanda, who was also the head of Indonesian Aeronautics. The secretary of Indonesian Aeronautics, RJ Salatun, was also involved in the establishment.

On September 22, 1962, the PRIMA project was formed as an affiliation of AURI (Indonesian Air Force) and ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology). The outcome of the project was the launching of "Kartika"("star") series rockets and it's telemetric ordnances on August 14, 1964 in LAPAN Launching Station Pameungpeuk, West Java.[1]

PRIMA project as one of the subproject of Outer Space Ionosphere Rocket Project (Proyek Roket Ionosfer Angkasa Luar) that is known as "Project S" was led by Laksda (Rear Admiral) Udara Budiardjo and Kolonel (Colonel) Udara RJ Salatun.

Kartika 1 is an experimental rocket not a Ballistic missile

Yup, just think what type of rocket we can make now if we are going to be serious in developing our rocket program during 32 years of Soeharto regime like what Soekarno did during 6 years of his regime since we are the second country in Asia to launch rocket. This is what I am going to imply through my post.

First, industrial base of Nork is very low and lacking. Compared to Indonesia who can churn out millions of cars yearly, including their engines and chasis. Not to mention their heavy industry like shipyard and so on, all of it can be converted to military purposes if need be
Second, Indonesia, Australian and Brazil had functioning and proper aviation industry working in civilian and military segment. There is nothing in the Nork to be compared at.
Third, Nuclear weapons is actually nothing to be proud at as Indonesia, Brazil and Australia actually had the necessary basic capability to produce atomic bombs or Nuclear warhead as Indonesia as an example got working design of indigenous mini Nuclear reactor.
Fourth, all of those countries is trillion dollar economy strength power. You dont want to messed up against them just because they dont pursue military first policy. Remember, even without military as their priority Indonesia, Australian and Brazil still spending more resources toward their military more than Nork can ever do.
