I mean after all, they are already third class citizens (after men, and Aghazadeha). They are not allowed into football stadiums while women from other countries can attend matches. Why such subversion of rights? Why do IRI's politician have such low regard for Iranian women?

IRI doesn't fear women, but the type of women who attend these matches usually don't respect the laws and it forces the TV to censor their appearance which leads to ruining the whole broadcast quality. the last thing which I want is a censored playback even for domestic matches.

It's not the IRI who prevents the women but themselves, the same way a criminal ruins his freedom right.

But if it's a clip or 2, or worst still the flaunting of the hejab by all female spectators (an unlikely event) in the heat of excitement, then perhaps the cameras should always be directed at the match and not at the spectators. I understand your argument and it could even be argued that it has merits since the hejab is the law of the land (although I disagree with that law), but to forbid (more like discriminate against) 50% of the population based on such argument is really pathetic (not you or your argument but rather it's essence). Restrictions based on weak arguments are nothing more than a way to suppress and humiliate its intended subject(s).

I assure you censoring the game is the least of concerns here . IRIB can censor it so you don't even understand its censored.

50%?!!! so you think all of our women want to go to stadiums? language in our stadiums is so dirty that families can't attend them (even if it was free). do you think all of our women want their husband and kids to enjoy a full view when they watch a match?! all families want the behaviors in the stadiums to become a norm and model for their children?!
point isn't the law but culture, the culture which almost everyone wants to preserve.

once during Ahmadinejad era, women were allowed in stadiums, and the result was that they decided to forbid it again. maybe in the future our spectators (both men and women) become mature enough but certainly today is not that day.

I wonder if you have ever watched the live foreign volleyball games in our TV?! headache is the only way I can describe them.

You can position the camera so no one can be seen in all of the game and if the ball is so high that you can't do that it can be shot so wide that you can't distinguish male from female.

And if you are concerned about bad language in stadium why not punish the ones who are responsible ? What they do in England or Germany in hooligans ?
When the match start they have to go to nearest police station and remain there until the game end . if its hard you can punish the group that acted wrong if in a match men were responsible for disorder punish them if it was women punish them .for the next games .
You can punish the team's for their fans disorder .
There are a lot of way to solve the problem ,wiping the problem is not one of them as it make only it worse.

Look at volleyball ,women could go and watch the game and nothing would have happened and nobody cared . then out of blue they forbid women from stadium and make fuel for the ones who wanted to make the water muddy and now we don't know what happen if we let women attend again (certainly for the first weeks it will not be beautiful) . its what I call not having forsight and making problem where there was no problem at all.

Spectator sports are overrated!

Try going to Old Trafford and watching a game, then tell me the same thing truthfully! :D The atmosphere and spectacle is something else.

On this rule I cannot say how ridiculous it is for me, you don't want children to hear profanities or get hurt in a game? Have a dedicated family section which is on the other side of the loudest fans. In Old Trafford for example the Stretford end is by far the loudest and sweariest part of the crowd, everywhere else doesn't have much chants, besides from what I see you don't get chants and things in Iranian matches like in Britain, correct me if I'm wrong.

But to apply the same logic to grown adults is just wrong, try telling a 30 year old woman she can't go in the stadium because some people are swearing, absolutely ridiculous. They are grown women, adults, stop treating them like children.

Stupid policy, should be changed ...

Type of women? These women are shown before some events 24/7 and TV has no problem with that ... and that's the problem with the telly, what it shows is different by reality in the society ..
and what about Syrian women? didn't they force the TV to censor their appearance?? just Iranian women are the problem?

the same way a criminal?now they are similar to criminals?

take a chill pill
Looks like you need to do that judging by your paragraph of bullshit.

Now listen up you fucking moron, how about you f*ck off out of this forum you've been on much less than me, and take your pretentious self importance with you. Nobody gives a rat's a*s what you have to say, think, or shit. Everyone here is tired of your bullshit, so for you to be tired of me calling you out for insulting every single person who disagrees with you is really fucking rich. You are just like one of those Rajavi clowns who will call anyone who disagrees with you a paid agent. I won't call you a paid agent because the Americans and Israelis are smart enough not to employ stupid jendes like you.

Now take your smelly, infected, fat a*s of yours out of this forum, punk.
