Why China Will Reclaim Siberia

Just wanted to point out that of course no country would allow one meter of land to be taken by force bu others.

It is not particularly about China. It is about any country, including India.

China will not reclaim Siberia.

If you look at human history you will realize that anything can happen

I was talking about some desperate measures by Russia if China does decides to attack it in later future :P.
Btw Soviet did sell Alaska to USA. Is there any possibility of them doing that with China now ?

If Russia really is in economical trouble it is possible we could negotiate with the Russians about selling some land facing Sea of Japan. Hard to say how the Russian economy will perform in the future.

That's only some wild imagination of some so called experts.

A country, desperate or not, will resist invasion. It does not matter it comes from China or India.

China will never invade any country. And it employs a no first use policy.

Yes. Anything. For any nation and person. So we must discuss every wild probability. That's nonsense.

The inherent intention is to put China in a negative light and sow some suspicion in the minds of the Chinese and Russian of each other.

No every wild possibility can include me leading a army of Indians & Chinese to create a Sino-Indian Empire that will rule the world or @Chinese-Dragon Taking control of PDF in collusion with @Horus
What we are discussing can happen very much perhaps not in this century but maybe in the next

Many Chinese I met want these lands 'returned' but not one were prepared to go to war for it. Makes sense. :)

that's because we are sane and practical people. Siberia does not worth fighting militarily with Russia when we can simply invest there and enjoy the same benefit. besides, if we do annex the entire Siberia, it's very possible we'll have Dutch disease just like Russia today.
but seriously, how many times have we seen articles like this? i'm tired of this Siberia paranoia and i bet some sane Russians will agree with me.:coffee:

Siberia is not very critical. More valuable land is at southern China. Good weather and arable land. And Sea of Japan is useless since it will be surrounded by Japan too.
it depends on everyone's opinion
You are very frank. I think the same as you.

But China must not get it via war. If there is chances that Russia break apart, then China may carpe diem.
It has had a time to break apart , i don't think she will happen again in the future.

It was the Russian Empire that sold Alaska to the US, not the Soviet Union as the deal occurred in the 19th century.

Siberia never belonged to China and China will not want it. China is already bigger than the US, 9.5 million square kilometers compared to 9.3 million square kilometers. China does not need any more land. New York Times, good try for trying to split brothers but you failed. Be sure to write 1,000 more such articles. :usflag: You are a mouthpiece of the CIA.

Who's to say global warming won't make Russia a much more population friendly place? Maybe, in 100 years, Russia's population can increase to 400 million.

What? I think Russia learned its mistake of selling Alaska.

No way. There won't be an Alaska mistake 2. I think, if the Russian government needs cash, it'll print rubles, but it won't sell any land.

Nope. It isn't gonna happen before Russia officially cann't hold the region. Also a number of independent former republics will emerge. China's current attention is east&south-ward, in the opposite direction.

The main thing is China's border will remain same everywhere.
