Why China is not moving factories to Pakistan??

Shift to India is understandable. We are a very large market. But not moving to Pakistan and instead choosing Bangladesh Malaysia Vietnam Thailand but no Pakistan is probably a reflection of China knowing Pakistan is a true colony that is a supine client, and does not need to curry favour with, any more than strictly required.

I think it's got to do with availability of skilled work force and security.no one would like to risk business for friendship

That too, but China seeks political and economic influence. Why try to influence a country that is in your pocket already.

because labor is very expensive in Pakistan

Once economic zones are implemented than some of the Industries will be shifted to Pakistan as well. Economic Zones are part of CPEC broader project in phase 2 which is to be materialize from 2020 onwards when connectivity to those zones is fully operational. Research before talk here. Indians are completely oblivion to complete CPEC projects and come up with an ill informed article from here and there and talk like they know it all. Plus as far as CPEC is concerned, both countries are dealing with Govt to Govt level which is really high benchmark in any project implementation.

Of course. Jam tomorrow then. CPEC CPEC CPEC a solution to all the ills in Pakistan. Everyone will be millionaires and Pakistan will become worlds foremost economic and military power with the US begging for aid from Pakistan.

:woot::omghaha:
THAT MUST BE THE JOKE OF THE CENTURY. You are saying labour costs more in Pakistan than Malaysia Thailand Vietnam and India.

Do at least make some effort to find the labour cost figures in Asia before making such preposterous statements.

No That's reality, largest slave population ranking belong to you bhangis along with thousands of farmers suicide every year.. we didn't yet reach your level of oppression.. hence we pay good to our labour that's why we are legging in exports, we find very difficult to match your subhuman level treatement of manpower. We don't want thousands of suicide every year :victory1:

On topic, I think they are working on different industrial zones under CPEC.

Per capita we receive a lot less than Pakistan. You cannot compare absolute numbers between countries where one is five times bigger than the other. Even a child understands this.

Labour costs in every country in that list is much higher than in Pakistan, including India. Fake bragging and opinions break open in the face of facts.

'Pakistan's labour costs lower than India's and China's,' says Lead Economist, World Bank, South Asia Region.

The first one is that the competitiveness's starting point is low for South Asia, and also for Pakistan, in particular. Pakistan's level of exports are five to ten times lower, on a per capita basis, compared to countries like Vietnam, China, or even Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Also, exports have been stagnant in terms of quality and number of products, as there is very little diversification away from textiles. Then there is the issue of the productivity of firms, which, on average, is low, especially for smaller firms. Unfortunately, most of the workers are still trapped in low productivity, semi-formal jobs.Externally, labour costs in Pakistan are now extremely competitive. They are two times lower than India and five times lower than China.

That is the world bank report.
