I am against any ban,people should be able to eat what they want.

I just wanted to tell,it seems pork is banned in Pakistan.

People will still eat beef or pork even if they are banned,they will find ways to eat what they like,if not above the table then under the table.

We'll see how that goes down with other minorities but sure go ahead but for now, point remains, Pakistan is an islamic republic and India claims to be secular, that pork argument holds no ground

I point i am trying to bring is should a name decide what is wrong or what is not.
if you feel pork is haram then it haram,it should not do anything with weather you are in just a republic or a islaim republic.

So be it. We have not taken the contract to let Mirorities do what ever they want at the cost of our culture, our rituals and our lives. They should also learn to respect the majority sentiments. If they are not willing to learn than educating them becomes necessary. I am happy that by and large Muslim community has accepted it. They are in full support of ban on cow slaughter. Even the Muslim rulers had banned that in India. After all some radical on forum does not represent the whole community.

Maybe kashmiri muslims should learn to respect the sensitivities of the majority people of india.Beef is a luxury please note and many maulvis promote beef eating with a desire to show who's boss.

This type of attitude tends to create inter-religious conflicts which should be avoided.

is eating beef a fundamental tenet of islam? if a muslim doesnt eat beef or say is a vegetarian,he wont go to heaven?

Hindus cant decide what is appropriate for muslim. No Muslim is asking hindus to do so.

Muslims do it as a religious affair not to tease any one.

A PIL was lodged to implement a law that is already in place.
