Why can't America solve its homelessness crisis?

So why arent the "alcoholics, drug addicts, or people with mental health issues" in other countries like Canada, UK, Norway etc homeless like the are in the US? you're victim blaming- do you make money from the govt? i bet you do...smh...US govt doesnt help its citizens enough, and now, IT IS SHOWING, you can keep being in denial.

Supermax prisons are now understaffed...if US defaults on its debt..OMG....WAHALA go dey!
Put aside mental health for now. Why should I not blame substance misuse and abuse on those who acted on them? Are we not supposed to be responsible for our decisions?

playing philiosophy with people's lives and welfare is what got America to where it is now- in a bad bad place.

You are avoiding the question, which is no surprise.

Economics issues often produces layoffs which contributes to homelessness. THAT -- most people understands and sympathizes with.

But drinking to excess benefits no one but the individual. He got drunk and he is happy, no matter how temporary. And if persists to the point of drinking away his wealth, even in a good economy, it is difficult to sympathize with him.

The bottom line is that YOU are not interested in philosophy or even discussing the issue at the practical level. This is about you using wordplay to avoid the issue of personal responsibility and to make the US as uncaring as possible. You are being deceitful, that is all there is.

It is good to see some people are willing to take on the CCP bots who have just infested this forum.

lol, isn't good if US takes on homeless issues instead of spending trillions on policing the world?

No incentives for capitalist and the oligarchy. Where's the profit in eradicating "homelessness"?

US only spends money on three things bombing poor countries, domestic policing and socialism for the rich, everything else can go to and burn in hell.

In American culture is OK to laugh of homeless people.

See from 4:30 minute

You can't imagine that kind of jokes in Europe.

USA is rich enough to erase extreme porverty, but they dont want to do it, it's part of their culture: if you are lazy, you deserve it.

Some countries, specially cold ones, have no homeless, like Norway.

I like bad taste comedy shows, I watch them in original English and dubbed to Spanish. You dont imagine the kind of things that Spanish dub does to avoid that kind of classist jokes about poor people, here is very bad seen, but in anglo societies is ok to laugh of the poor people.
