The growing terrorist activities in Bangladesh where liberal thinkers and minorities are being ruthlessly attacked and the Sheikh Hasina government's failure to completely rein in the elements have made India worried.

The latter has now seriously taken up with the neighbouring country the issue of terrorists threatening a priest of the Ramakrishna Mission in Dhaka. The external affairs ministry has said that it will stand by the Hasina government to tackle the threat and will not allow any kind of misunderstanding crop up between the two countries. The Indian high commissioner to Bangladesh also paid a visit to the mission.

BD-India relationshp is only superficially good, but under the cover of this the GoB is procuring billions of dollars worth of military hard wares. Ships. planes. anti-aircraft system, tanks and many others.

I wonder which country is using whom? India using BD territory to transit its goods, but BD is also using this peace to acquire military goods from every corner of the western world worth naming.

Come on man...Do not quote such kind of silly stuff in the international forum...Comparing BD with ePakistan is just as silly like you are comparing apple and orange...BD is much more economically and as a society developed than Pakistan...So just do not compare with some silly news...In that sense, many things are happening in India too...Does than mean that internal situation in India is much more dangerous than Pakistan too?

Yah because Bangladesh is so clean they can criticize India for thinking they are a threat:

They are always so quick to say Access doest not equal use in India's case....but somehow it doesn't apply for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh surely is a big toxic threat. More than 1000 poor people per square km...worse than Haiti and Rwanda.

Add the religious extremism, machete hacking and massive poverty....we got a big problem for not just India but the whole world. Thats a big threat and problem to India given how many continue to illegally hop to India.

BD is relocating the tanneries from Hazaribag to Savar. A purification plant has been built there by an inept Indian company, quality is bad. So, it is a little late, Govt is doing its best to do this job of relocation.
