Why are so many young brits joining ISIS

because there is a well known pattern of racial attack in USA, predominantly done by white people. When white people kill black people, thats the first pattern that comes to mind even if it might be due to personal feud, drug deal gone wrong etc.
His race is important but religion is not. Is it not obvious?

When the shooter is a Muslim then the entire religion is guilty. When he or she is black then the entire race is guilty but when the shooter is white then he or she is viewed by the public and the media as a “mentally troubled lone wolf.”

usually white people are accused of racial attacks not black people. It does not mean all white people are racists, but thats the pattern automatically comes to our mind. Now a white guy can say, hey when you folks attack white people how is it not racism. Well, thats few and far between to generate a pattern.
Many white guys do complain that racial attacks by other races are ignored by media.

Black people are associated with rioting and general public disorder. Mexicans with drug deals.(in USA).
Organized white attacks (not lone wolf) are rarely associated with mental health issues, due to a well known pattern going back to KKK.
I totally understand and sympathize with muslims when they complain, but are we all not trying to figure out patterns, I have seen muslim associating terrorism with beard, or crimes in Uk with 'those mirpuris'.

Currently Indians are associated with rape and crimes against women, no matter how much I hate, thats going to stay.

Most of these British people we hear about going to Syria aren't actually Pakistani.

I am afraid significant number of them are Pakistani origin. Lot of these guy's adopt Arab clothing and Arab style names. Most are Pakistani, Bengali, one is Afghan, couple of Arabs. Syria/Palestine/Iraq/Yeman are Arab countries so it would be fair to expect some Arabs because these issues are directly related to them. Despite this Pakistani's come on top when they have absolutely nothing to do with these conflicts. Their parents came to UK because they were poor and could not feed themselves in Pakistan. They did not come to UK to get fed and then launch jihad in Syria. After all what about Kashmir which is right next door to where they come from?

The London bombers were also mostly Pakistani. KSM the chief brains behind 9/11 was Pakistani, Ajmal Kasib of the earlier 1993 attack was also Pakistani. Why is it we don't find any Turks or Iranians? We can expect to find Arabs because these are in fact their conflicts. In the IRA/UVF conflict in Northern Ireland it was entirely expected that most of the operatives of the IRA would be Irish. Ditto for Arabs and ME conflicts.

Other European countries which have large numbers of North Africans and Turks have sent much more people to Syria/Iraq than the UK.

Did I not say something about linkages? Turkey is right next to Syria. North Africa are Arabs and so are Syrians. BTW many Syrians are Turkmen that Turks feel very close association with. However what the hell do Pak or Bengali have anything to do with Syria?

I don't know. It's common for people to blame "disadvantaged" backgrounds but when you look at many of these young men (and women) you find they often come from comfortable middle class professional families.

I think 'All caring.all understanding,champion of human rights,a liberal democratic torch bearer of civilization' mentality prevalent among the western countries particularly in Britain have made the islamic fanatic arrogant and bellicose.They see no point of fearing or obeying a state or people who have became too accommodating,too apologizing and guilt ridden for their past action.

Nurtured by the generous welfare payment and lack of heavy handed response from the state or society made them arrogant and boastful.You are accommodating a group of people who only respect might and have no democratic socio-political heritage.That's why ISIS recruitment are many times more in the west than the secular muslim dictatorship.They know they and their family will be ruined if they try to do any anti-state activity in muslim dictatorship.

while the state in UK has been everything you say, the general population has been very hostile to migrants. This has ended up with many ghettos where people sort of only deal with people of their own background.
I am not sure ghettos send most fighters, but they are sort of isolated pockets that teach different value system. If you live in black ghetto your whole life, you will suspect police as enemy(even if you are white), and police do discriminate. The us vs them mentality is easy to get.
