From December 24 to 27, 2007, at least three persons were killed and over 100 churches and church institutions, including convents and hostels, about 700 houses and other structures were burnt during the riots.[11]

On 1 January 2008 further violence was reported at several places. Police said at least 20 houses and shops were torched at Phiringia, Khajuripada, Gochapada and Brahmanigaon by rioters.[32]

This adequately reflects the opinions of the middle class populace who blindly follow whatever their gov tells them.

Many such videos are seen by millions. Comments are made by a very small minority. It is also a fact that, those with, very strong opinions are the ones who make an offensive commnets. Most liberals just watch them and move along. Hence, these comments can’t be the reflection on an entire country.

It is a fact though, that, number of people with hard stance has increased in India. But it is always a cycle and is based on the political situation. BJP is in power today and wouldn’t be so tomorrow. Opinions would change suddenly at that time. And even BJP has lost elections in few states recently. That speaks a lot about perception being created about absolute hold of BJP over India.

My contention is against, labelling each and every Hindu to be a hater of other religions as is being tried by some nut cases here. @hatehs is one such namoona.

That is nothing more than complete load of BS.
