thank you for defending me.
thank you for welcoming me, my friend... i think i can not too difficultly adjust to life in pakistan... not too different from here, i gather... thank you for the honor.
here is how i shall pass the days...
i especially want to sip tea at "the monal" restaurant in margalla hills, islamabad...
and this other...
i will engage with pakistani socialist groups (
), including the music band, laal, that
@haviZsultan had told me of.
and then tour the food havens of lahore...
and while in lahore, go the the gaddafi stadium, to the center of it and practice a historic jamahir speech.
and back in islamabad, i will regularly conduct tea parties where i shall pour forth lectures with my usual eloquence and charm and grandly impress all my pdf friends.
perhaps my guests may include the lovely gul panra and the very charming mahira khan and of course, fatima bhutto... uff...
when fatima had come to india some years ago to introduce her book, "songs of blood and sword", i had planned to visit her reading in bangalore, but in the end i was too lazy and missed... but i wanted to at some point stand in the audience and declare "madam fatima, your father and uncle were socialist revolutionaries and i am socialist... you have luscious lips, so do i... let's marry"... i may have the chance in pakistan to say that again.
and then i would also do rounds of pakistani music... i would travel back to punjab and ask taimur afghani to honor me with his rendition of "heer", starting with a brief narration of the story of the song...

though i wouldn't understand lot of the punjabi, i would let the beauty of his singing wash over me.
lastly, i thank
@WebMaster and the management for providing this fine and varied platform where i have met good and interesting people, and where people attend daily or as soon as they can.
