Mother obviously
Pretty stupid when ppl only credit moms for bigger role in upbringing. Both are equally important and can not be replaced. However, households with no father tend to have a very negative impact on the psychology of the children, both male and female.
For instance, most of the western liberal narrative is centred around taking away the guns because "they cause the mass shootings", while they completely ignore the fact that other countries in the world have similar levels of gun ownership but no similar mass shootings. Some quarters within the western societies have finally found a more relevant correlation between single-motherhood households and crimes/mass-shootings.

These links also contain statistics corresponding other correlations between single mother households and other issues as well, such as suicide etc.
Pretty stupid when ppl only credit moms for that.
Usually mothers are considered so imp cause moms get to spend more time at home with kids or cause moms take care of kids eating routine and habits. But in reality every one of them have their roles to play.
Anyways, i would say it could be any one of them and actually both. Just saying mother is extremely rude, selfish and superficial. Fathers and their contributions tend to get so badly overlooked in such discussions.
No ,i agreed with ur both posts. I think you misunderstood my post. I was actually agreeing with ur points by saying people only crediting mothers as the most important individual ln child upbringing is wrong and unfair.Bhai jaan all those statistics are for single-mother households, i.e. no father in the equation due to men hating courts in most of the cases. Most of the infamous serial killers also belonged to the disturbed family of single mothers with no father figure. Some of the men are pure "dead beat" who would bail on their families while some of the men die due to either sickness or accident, but in majority of the cases single-motherhood is conceived due to the promiscuous nature of an empowered women and them initiating around 80% of the divorce proceedings against their husbands; taking him to the cleaners emotionally(kids) and financially.
Once again sir, all the statistics are available and you can verify them by a simple Google search. US, Canada, Australia and the UK amongst other European countries have such data recorded over the years unlike the Middle East or South Asia.
These are just plain statistics which might have a solid correlations to societal ills. That's why I said that both of the parents are important, otherwise Allah(swt) would have only needed a single gender. But in a society where there are a lot of "empowered", promiscuous and entitled single mothers, those mothers will almost always prove disastrous for their children's psychological and financial well being.
