Its not a fault of a religious book or a religion, its fault of skewed mentality of people, misinterpretation of God's words, distortion of religious texts, religion for personal benefits. Remember religion is a very powerful tool to control huge population by distorting according to your aims and goals.

Similarly, the caste system in India was a occupation based system, each were respected but the upper class distorted this system. Similarly, Sati Pratha was a woman's choice. But people then forced it. Dowry was supposed to help the daughter to start her own life as she didn't get any share of her father's property, she used to receive gifts on various occasions but greed of people changed it and converted into crime by torturing, burning brides.


You have to be rational. Ever wonder why there are Muslims scholars and scientists, businessmen, players, actors etc. who excel in their field, who read the same book these terrorists think they know from the book ?

I find Aafia Siddiqui case EXTREMELY STRANGE! 1st the news were quick to report she had guns, they then changed it to she snatched it from trained uniform men then they say she fought from 2 men to 4 men then back to 2 men....and the news depending which paper you read gave a different story because honestly speaking, no one knows the real story and it is termed Mystery and lately the news has been her in money laundering? Yea you go take a PhD to do such stuff! Times must be really tough in USA!
