I am intrigued by one statement in the paragraph, this one:-

While the countries are not listed, the descriptions included do list some indicators. Several countries are listed as not providing the US with “identity information” and presenting a “risk” of “terrorist travel.” One country is an “important strategic partner in the global fight against terrorism” but nevertheless is failing in “identity management” issues. Another country does not “work with the United States on border and immigration security issues.”

Iraq ? KSA ? Pakisan ? Jordan ? or any other guesses ?
Are we even strategic partner with US ?

I thought they had already infiltrated our Nadra System....and more importantly, we do share data of our citizens to US when they demand. Atleast this did take place in the past and I believe it still occurs.

From my understanding these travel bans effect students, business and visitor visas and other non-immigration related. However, if a Pakistani America comes and goes it doesn’t effect them correct?

But that language is clearly pointed towards Pakistan from the way it reads. Because we’ve been labeled “strategic nation” when WOT began.
