I know the guy you are quoting but why would Iran call a Air to Air missile Anti-Tank missile. Air to Air are more difficult to make and Anti-Tank are easy to make.

I am not blaming you but this is a big debate going on now as this is a strange missile.

Here is a correction for every one this is Air to surface missile.

Iran unveils new anti-armor missile

TEHRAN - The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps unveiled on Wednesday anti-armor missile Azarakhsh and inaugurated an aviation training center.

Azarakhsh weights 70kg and can destroy targets 10km away at a maximum speed of 550m/s.

The anti-armor missile has been developed to be used in low-altitude air operations and against ground targets.

According to Fars news agency, a well-equipped aviation center, a helicopter research center and a center for specialized helicopter overhaul center were also inaugurated near Tehran.

IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari attended the ceremony.

that small warhead is let just say several time heavier than tow or kronet let just say its more than 10 kg of explosive. And I won't see why it can't be a shaped charge . look at the missile as a kronet on steroid . you knew agm-87 was quite effective
